Help /fit/ something is wrong with me. I'm 23 years old, relatively okay shape, but every time I go to squat my lower back hurts for 2-3 days to the point where I can barely manage sitting, when I bend over it feels like my lower back is getting crushed with a hammer/intense pressure.

It takes about 2-3 days and the pain subsides completely 100%, yet if I go to squat (or deadlift) again the pain come back for another 2-3 days. I don't know if it's muscle pain or joint pain, I attached a diagram to the post to show the exact location but it hurts like a bitch and I don't think it's DOMS.

I'm at the point now where I just want to stop squatting/deadlifting. The pathetic thing is I can only squat lol1plaet, you think I wouldn't get so much back pain from such light weight, it also feels like my legs can push more but my lower back is a limiting factor.

I squat properly too, back straight not curved, sometimes it's so uncomfortable though my body pushes forward and I almost fall over just because my lower back struggles. I can get about 8-10 reps of 135lbs

My question is, do you guys think it's worth seeing a doctor over? I feel like they will just tell me to stop lifting for awhile and see if it subsides because the pain only happens for a few days after lifting and I don't believe it's DOMS, it just doesn't have that muscle pain associated with it.

My form is 100% though, I had somebody go over it with me.

What do you guys think it could be? (I circled the red area for the pain)

nah but you'll be fine, take a few weeks break or until you can sit down without excrutiating pain. avoid diddys and back squats for a little while and substitute for things like lunges and split squats.

work on building you core, ALL of your core (lower back muscles, obliques and abs). start doing daily stretching, focus on hamstring stretches and try to foam roll as much as possible. DO NOT ROLL DIRECTLY ON LOWER BACK.

eventually you will be able to return to deadlifts and squats, but just take it easy for now and focus on recovery. get strong at lower back and leg assistance excercises.

I'm 5'10 and very fit but I don't have nice facial features and my jawline is shit. I personally think my face is very ugly. I have been told that I have good body proportions and nice shoulders though.

My dentist says that I will have a minor lisp for the first 4 months while I adjust to the braces. He says it is unavoidable but temporary.

My question:

How fucked will braces make my social life in college? I will need to wear them for 1 year and possibly 1.5 years, and then I will need to wear a retainer for another year. If I were to become even more /fit/ do you think it will compensate for my braces? Right now, I am

Bros, I'm looking for recommendations on a meal plan. Something that includes meals that a uncultured caveman can cook. I'm thinking a plan with a lot of chicken and eggs, 3 meals a day with 2 snacks, etc. I'm starting to get serious on lifting, so I want to maximize gains and I need a meal plan to back me up. I've always struggled with the nutrition side of my fitness journey, so I'm seeking advise. What have you bros tried that works? Thanks in advance.

I sucked at cooking and messed up a lot of meals but you learn eventually and others appreciate it too some day. I was poor neet and it was risky to ruin food but i still tried, you can sacrifice some shit in order to learn imo.

Just get 1.5-2 g protein per kg bodyweight and the rest from carbs n fats.

You can start the day off with eggs or a coldcut sandwich have a shake for lunch and eat a dinner, should cover you. Quarter pound of deli meat sandwich or 5 scrambled eggs are like 30g protein each.

How do I maximize my son's height gains?

He's 14 right now, just starting puberty and he's about 64 in


His birth mother was 60 in and im 67 in


What kind of foods should I try to get him to eat? He's pretty skinny right now but he's taken a little bit of an interest in lifting.
