This is stepping out of being strictly fitness related in the customary sense, but with the rise of mewing, skincare, /fitlit/, and other aspects of voracious self-improvement appearing on this board, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on learning to speak better. Tried and true methods to have an impressive sounding voice would be nice, but I already know the basics like speak from your chest, breathe deeply, etc. I was hoping for advice specifically on things like vocal pace and tone, how to sound alpha and commanding. My first idea was to listen to famous speeches and try and mimic the vocal patterns and intonations, is this a good idea?
Oftentimes I feel like I naturally talk too fast, or the intonations of what I say don't lend themselves to sounding calm and collected. Was wondering how to practice my voice so it would come out the same regardless of how I'm feeling, like a force of habit.
Are there various ranks of manlets, or are there just manlets, kings of manlets, men (more or less ideally tall) and lanklets?
>>42717999
Is a lanklet tall and skinny or just tall?
And what is "ideally tall"?
>>42718010
6 feet to 6'2" is ideally tall
>>42717999
5'8-5-9 is considered short but not manlet-short
Where were you when Family Guy memed on /fit/ before you even browsed it?

I'm shit at cardio and get out of breath easily, so I signed up for soccer to do something to stay fitter. Anyway, it starts in about 4 weeks and I wanted to go running to prepare.. but I broke my toe.
What cardio shit can I do to prepare myself cause I don't wanna die out there when playing.
Will non running even help for a running sport?
Swim
Cycling instead of treadmill

Ride your bike.
Disregard divegrass altogether.
What's the deal with that? I didn't change my diet, I always wake up at 7:30, and I've been having runny shits for a week every morning now. Whats the cause?

This is more health related than fitness, most likely, but any idea what this is? Tiny flat and has an L on one side and a cut across the other.
>>42717105
"L" for lean dumbass.
Take in for lean bulking.
stop lifting in the strength rep range

Hey yo /fit/, can drinking too much water cause diarrhea? I was working outside for 6 hours and I drank a shitton of water but I couldn't sweat, then about 5 hours into my shift I started draining ass like fucking crazy.
You can drink as much as you want, no correlation to diarrhea
How much can getting /fit/ move you up the attraction scale?
For example, can a 300 pound fatty go from a 3 to a 5 by getting in shape? Can a lanklet 6 become an 8 with a Zyzz physique?
Going from skinny fat to muscular 1 point
Going from obese to skinny who knows (only because it drastically improves face)
It's all about the face
>>42716804
if you work hard you can go from Jabba the Blob to wrestling star
Depends on your face, but losing weight will invariably make you go up, a 300lb fatty will easily go from a 3 to a 5 by getting shape, more if they have a decent face or improve their physique beyond average.
Weightloss Plateau
Jimmy Struggles told me to just keep cutting my calories, but I'm already getting severe hunger pangs. I've lost about 40lbs by cuttings cals and doing a lot of cardio.
I haven't changed what I do, why the sudden wall?
Because CICO is a fucking meme. Start doing alternate day fasting.
I skipped my fucking workout because I fell asleep. The day before was rest day.
I just realised that I need a psychologist, because now I'm sitting here, hurting myself, because in my head I lost the progress of over a year and I can't unhate myself, so I need to punish myself.
This is fucked up. If I look into the mirror, all my gains are gone!

A little off topic but I need help boys.
This one night approximately 4 months ago I got high on this weed pen in my bathroom just to chill down since I had a stressful week and also to relax and have a nice recovery after the gym. After I got smashed I went to my bed and turned on my AC.
I was positioned in such a way (Or my ear was) that the sound the air coming from the AC created a whitle-like sound in my ear. I was incredibly smashed too so I got pretty spooked since it was so loud. Ever since then I can hear the same ringing in my ear (especially when I try to fall asleep)
What do you guys think? Could have weed caused this? Did it create tinnitus in my right ear (yeah only one ear is affected)
Or could it be purely psychological? Sometimes when I think deeply about other things, the ringing goes away but when I think about the ringing, it immoderately comes back.
Or maybe I had tinnitus before and weed only revealed it to me?
Is there Anything I could do? I will be going to the doctor soon but I'm worried they won't help me.
Believe it or not most people have a ringing in their ears if they really listen for it. You are hearing it because you are aware it is there. The best thing to do is just accept it and move on with your life, it will go away eventually when you stop focusing on it.
Who here takes diet advice from Macka B?
How hard is it to maintain a otter mode, bear mode, super mode body? Is it worth it to go to the gym for hours to ensure your muscles don't decrease.
Bump?
ive been training for 2 years, and sometimes when i feel like im getting too fat, i will fast by eating literally nothing for 2-3 weeks (without working out)
i never lose any strength/lean mass
it's not that hard to maintain muscle, provided you have normal hormone levels
