Starved myself down to 56kg from 67kg and I've been struggling to keep it there for a month or so. I managed to lose a kg this week so hopefully that means that I've finally stabalised so my normal weight can be 57kg (my natural weight is 64kg)

Every minute I'm not working out, I'm depressed. Even anime and video games aren't making me feel better. Every time I look in the mirror I want to shoot my reflection. I know that if I just keep going with my workout, things will work out. But seeing my lack of muscle mass, my poorly developed back, etc. makes me feel like a beta male.

In time like this, how does /fit/ get the motivation to continue?

Do it, as long as you do proper research beforehand.

Fuck waiting to hit your "natty limit". It's like the autists that suggest this don't take into consideration just how long and the dedication (perfect diet/training + time) it takes to get to that limit. You absolutely do not have to wait until you reach that before you start your first cycle.

I can guarantee that if you start a cycle now with those numbers you will make great gains and not regret it in the least. Just make sure that you're dedicated enough to put in the effort to maintain a good diet and training regiment during your cycle to get the most out of it, as well as taking proper PCT and AI.

Eh mostly you should just probably lift for atleast a year or two before going on gear. 1 to get a good base and 2 to be familiar with gear and it's effects.

How do you learn to reach proper depth in a high bar squat? I have no issues going ATG but I know my back rounds from hitting that level of depth, so it can't be good for me in the long run. It's easier for me to just go ATG instead of slightly below parallel because I have issues stopping short and knowing when to explode back up.

Any tips?

Not OP, but those were the cause of my problems with the squat. Narrow stance and an elevated heel completely cured my squat issues. No more butt wink, no more shallow squats, and no more knee pain.

OP, try squatting with plates under your heel to see if you feel any positive changes and then get oly shoes.

Lower the weight, take a slow approach when dropping down. When you feel as though you're parallel, shoot back up

Being able to feel when you're parallel and immediately shooting up is known as the stretch reflex. It's important to develop a good stretch reflex just as a habit.
