Do you do incline immediately after your flat bench?

if so do you warm up for your incline bench, or do you treat your flat bench as the warm up?

i warm up for both of them separately, but i think it may fatigue me prematurely.

i feel like if i dont warm up for incline my shoulders feel weird as fuck.

Immediately after, no warmup
>>
>>42101292
If it's a warm-up, it shouldn't fatigue you prematurely. If anything, you're getting fatigued by the full set of flat bench you already did. Alternate workouts where you do flat and incline, or alternate which one you do first if you're super concerned about your upper pecs not getting hit hard enough. Or just try skip the second warm-up.

Overly defined upper pecs look dumb compared to lower pecs anyways.

Bad breathing, when you breathe your stomach should rise and fall rather than your chest

I was in the gym doing squats the other day and I was chatting with the trained and told him to check on me to comment on my form.

He said it was good and I commented, yeah, I wanted you to check it out because I here it was a risky exercise

He then replied:

"Risky? It IS DAMAGING!"

Wow, is it really so bad for you?

I'm a pretty big guy, with a 6'6 wingspan. A general rule of thumb is to keep the index finger on the ring during bench. Should a taller person go further out?

It's ILLEGAL and I see literally no reason as to why it would necessarily be more advantageous than simply improving your arch.
>>
>>42101142
I'm not training for competition just trying to adjust the ratio of pec-to-tricep work in my bench.
>>
>>42101129
depends what your segment lengths are, if you have a wide clavicle and short forearms in that wingspam then maybe it will be advantageous, if long forearms and short clavicle maybe not

If I squat and did lower body/ glute exercises only, would I look bad? Isn't my upper body being indirectly trained with squats and deadlifts?

>took a week off
>tried to bench 205x5
>fail and get 205x3
>get pissed off
>try again get 205x3
>again 205x3
>try 230x1 for no reason cause im pissed and fail
>get more pissed and skip all acessory work

Im supposed to be doing 5/3/1 but sperged out because im weaker from a taking week off instead of deloading. This was obviously a useless workout because of it and i want to try again 5 pounds lighter tomorrow now that I've chilled out

Is that viable or will i still need to recover from those three sets?

My bench is crap and has given me a -53 symmetry score. How do I get a better bench?

I lift 3x a week, bench every workout, alternating between 4x4 and 4x8. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I did this last year and my bench was in the 200's for reps but had to stop lifting because I was sick and had surgery.

Right now it's stuck at 165x5, and I'm not sure how to advance because it hasn't really gone up much in a month

Hi lads. Im a skinnyfat guy cutting and I was doing some pullups and on the first rep there was a sharp pain in my rear shoulder i was scared. Couldn't even do a lat pulldown on babyweight it still pained so I just went home.

2 reasons I have are
>2 months of bench pressing really wrong (way high, bar not touching nipples but the line halfway between collarbone and nipples)
>sleeping on my side wrong and uncomfortable which triggered this the next day

Anyway how can OP ever recover? I am taking the week off

Have my favorite wallpaper

Do cardio instead of taking the week off. If you sleep fucked up in a way that fucks over your muscles dont train those that day.

Otherwise, all you can do is be patient. I dont want to scare you but if it's particularly bad it could take like 6 weeks to heal. Stay hydrated

Thanks senpai.

check out athlean-x on youtube. he usually has videos addressing improper form, or lifts with injuries and how to do alternatives to get the same gains.
