How do we solve America's obesity problem?
>Murricans think it's funny to die of a heart attack
Can't make this shit up.
>saturated fat makes you fat and causes heart disease meme
Why are you posting pictures from the 1970s?
>>42140751
The quickest way...
>>42140767
Yes, go ahead and eat your deep fried junk, Murrilard with 500+ calories than normal. I'm sure that won't make you fat.
What's your opinion on eating matza (kinda like a cracker sheet) before gym?
It's 0 everything plus carbs
>>42140638
They ate the bread because they had to, not because they wanted to.
>>42140649
there's nothing wrong with bread.
>>42140660
Never said there was. Matza is closer to hard tack, than bread. ((They)) call it bread to seem more sophisticated.
if she aint thick as a brick house and cant crush watermelons and pumpkins wit her thighs...I don't want her!
stop trying to shill your shitty cuck fetish on this board, asshole
I miss female bodybuilder General guy. That dude was all right.
How do I build my stabilisers? I can easily bench more than I can right now but my weak stabilisers cause my barbell to shake and twist on the way up. I have no problems getting the bar up with enough speed but it wobbles too much. What do?
>>42140510
>I can easily bench more than I can right now
>my weak stabilisers
>cause my barbell to shake
So you can't bench more because your stabilisers are weak. Solution = Lift more.
>>42140510
Lower your weight. Work on your form.
>>42140540
This. Also do dumbbell BP.
Hit triceps and forearms more, those will help with stabilization.
Anybody have shrimp as a staple on their diet? In only 3 oz of shrimp there are 1g of fat and 18g of lean protein. To top it all off, it's delicious with just about anything.
How does /fit/ eat their shrimp? Ceviche is great on a hot day.
>>42140433
I usually eat chicken breast since it is cheap and easy to cook. I usually just chop it up into little pieces and fry it on the pan. However whenever o feel like eating fancy I might have some seafood like salmon or shrip. I like to either fry my shrimp or grill it. You have to be a monumental fuck up to manage to make shrimp, or any type of seafood for that matter, to taste bad.
>>42140433
>>42140433
I fucking love shrimp. Just wish it wasn't so damn expensive. My favourite way to eat shrimp is to mix it with cottage cheese and chopped avocados, then add a pinch of salt and a lot of black pepper.
>>42140433
You are what you eat.
Give the best PPLPP program you can think of.
I fell for the SL meme for almost six months and have relatively big thighs. Not it's time to get a matching upper body for my nice legs.
I noticed that I have naturally wide shoulders and upper back and I want to use that for my favour. Also I enjoy squatting heavy once a week.
Begin.
>>42140343
That's what I do and it's been working nicely
>>42140343
Pull
Push
Curl
Legs
Its not hard.
You gonna make it bro
>Tfw you'll be never as /fit/ and /fa/ as Conor McGregor.
What's the point, lads?
>>42140301
*you'll never be as
FUCK
>>42140301
This is at least your 3rd thread this morning regarding McGregor in a pic wearing that same fucking outfit. Why the fuck are you so obsessed OP?
>>42140339
Honestly m8 I know which threads you're talking about but I'm not that guy kek
How do I quit smoking. Been off cigs for 2 hours and I feel like I'm dying. What can I do curb the cravings? Also how do I run without looking like a mongoloid. Thanks gags.
>>42140258
You don't buy any more cigarettes.
There, now you've quit.
the key to running without looking like a mongoloid is HEIGHT, FACE AND FRAME, without those three there is no point in running
>>42140258
Read this.
Quitting smoking is 99% pyschological, the physical withdrawal is fucking babby tier, less severe than caffeine.
The hard thing is untying daily life from the relief of cravings (this is what people convince themselves is enjoyment of smoking, when in reality it is just stopping themselves feeling bad - like saying taking paracetamol is pleasurable because its stops a headache)
I smoked 20 a day when I read that book and literally dropped it no problem when I finished it, without replacing nicotine with anything, and even went out drinking the night after I quit.
I've been training BJJ for 2 months, and during the train I always feel an intense pain from the base of my biceps, where it connects to the elbow (distal tendon) to the middle of the muscle. It feels a lot like tendinitis, irradiating through the arms but I don't think it's the case as the pain goes away approx 1h after finishing the class. My instructor suggested it could be cramps, but the pain is different from cramps. Doesn't look like soreness pain either, as it goes away soon after.
I've been doing weight training for about 2 years, so I'm not sedentary and don't have "newbie" biceps.
Do you guys have any idea on what it could be and how to avoid it?
you caught the gay dude. sorry bud.
But but but is there a cure?
>>42140242
>bjj black belt here
It's probably tendonitus. I get it too at times. I try to get through it by applying muscle rub and hyper extending my elbows. Sit on your knees, put your palms on the ground facing *towards* you and stretch. Alternatively, get someone to gently arm-bar you.
It won't cure the problem, but it gives temporary relief and it might get you through the class.
I'm an oldfag by the way. I've always had big biceps. Never trained them. I only started to get this in my mid-thirties.
Show me the natty limit
>>42140194
He wasn't natty. Sergio Oliva confirmed it.
So
>went running on Tue
>sore as fuck on Wed, went to the gym anyway
>abductors started to hurt a lot, had to quit squats after 3 sets
>Thu legs hurt like fuck
>today legs still fucking hurt
Should I go to the gym regardless? I don't think I could complete a set of squats, but I could try doing it through the pain
Or should I rest today and recover the day tomorrow and do Sat - Mon - Wed- Fri? I'm doing SS 3 weeks a day, this is the first week, yes I am in horrible shape
>>42140148
Don't workout through pain. Not in this case anyway.
Rest your legs, maybe train another muscle group.
>>42140148
Have you tried stretching and rolling your abductors? Maybe they're just very tight
Get on an the floor and stretch your legs, swimming helps too but its up to you
alternatively make today an arm day
Hi /fit/.
I'm really sorry it's come to this but I need your help. For the summer, I'm stuck using one of those living community gyms.
That means, as far as free weights go, I do have dumbbells, but no barbells.
I've been having a bit of trouble finding a good dumbbell workout. I've been doing this one:
http://www.mensfitness.com/training/workout-routines/30-minute-dumbbell-workout-program-build-muscle
I've made some modifications to try and make it more interesting, but my main issue is that....it's just so boring.
One of the things I love about SS is that I can come in the gym, slam through the workout + accessory exercises, and be done in around an hour. I feel like I'm actually accomplishing something when I challenge myself on the squat. These stupid dumbbells are killing me.
TLDR; Help me find a dumbbell workout
>>42140115
What kind of gym don't have a barbell ffs
Anyway, both the Buff Dudes and Athlean-X has made a good series on dumbbell workout, go check'em out (sidenotes: your workout seems to be garbage, even by a full-body standard)
>>42140102
Same man, idk why
Aggravated my SI joint on Wed with some shitty form on my last squat set. Pain has been lessening but still feel a twinge without Advil.
Think it's wise to squat 3x5 tonight?
Also, SI Joint general / lower back pain thread
Nobody has a wonky sacroiliac joint?
>>42140010
Im pretty sure I did, or a strained glute medius (the one that extends into your lower back). Happened like October last year, became real bad in November - didn't take time off. Arching in bench started to hurt, and I stopped DL/Back squats. Did FS instead
>>42140877
Did switching to front squats make a decent difference / did back squats aggravate?
I'm kinda tempted to do a leg-lengthening surgery, /fit/. I already have short legs, so it would be perfect for me. I wouldn't look disproportionate. How do I explain it to my family though?
>How do I explain it to my family though?
Don't. They most likely won't agree with it. Just move out of their house and do it with your own money if you want. That's what a friend of mine did.
>>42139939
Just imagine how good you're body would look if you spent the 6 months lifting instead of resting your mangled legs.
>>42139939
fucking dumb ass motherfucker those few inches arent worth fucking up your legs. Buy some high heel shoes if you wanna get taller.
