Is there anything a poor skinnyfat can do to lose male tits and belly flab? I feel like I'm getting unhealthy and I really want to improve my life.
I got no money for equipment, bicycle or anything, and my knees hurt from running because I got hit by a car as a kiddo (also got scoliosis but I'm fixing it by doing lower back exercises and it stopped hurting already after several months). Is it possible to get some muscle and lose the fat by working out at home using only your body? Also, what sort of food can a poor person get that would be beneficial in achieving these goals? My diet currently consists of mostly carbs and sugars (yeah I know it's shit but it's the cheapest option).

Chicken. Canned Tuna. Other cheap frozen fish. Cottage cheese. Water. Rice. Lentils. Beans. Nuts (good source of fat, but be careful of calories). None of these foods are that expensive, lentils rice & beans especially are super cheap and good carb sources with good protein. Calorie deficit (Calculate your TDEE online). Can't answer the home workout question. Also stop using the term skinnyfat. You're just fat with no muscle.

Thanks, would you recommend any specific nut sort? I have a huge stash of walnuts that I've tried to start eating instead of potato chips when the craving kicks in.
>>
>>42162484
Not the same anon but Walnuts will be fine. Again, fit it into your calorie intake. I eat a lot almonds and cashews but I make them fit. Also HIIT since you don't have much equipment. There's 7 min programs you can do, if you can't do some of the exercises then you can sub them for easier ones. Deficit + fasted HIIT = EZ weight loss.

Hey /fit/, I REALLY need advice. My close friend who I really look up to offered me to work out with him at a gym really close to where I live. Its been a LONG time since I even remotely had a fitness routine. What should i be aiming for and how do I not die in the first week? I'm not overweight so i'm not looking for weight loss, more or less toning my body. Any tips, advice and warnings are much appreciated.

You don't have any muscle mass to "tone" read the sticky and start with a full body routine, focus on your form rather than the weight you're putting up

Are grasshoppers or ants more nutritious for you?

Grasshoppers have more protein apparently
>>
>>42162166
insects in general are considered a alternative source to protein. They make a large chunk of the biomass on land and readily available anywhere on the world. Its considered to be one resource that can help aid countries in need.

I used to run cross country in middle school so no expert, but I'm fairly certain that this type of "warm up before a 5k is putting way more unnecessary stress on your stabilizer muscles in your ankles and knees than is healthy. I remember all warm up exercises to be slow and deliberate. Am I mistaken? If so, how?

Anyone here following his style of training? If so, what does your program look like? Currently doing 5/3/1 but it seems only squat/deadlift are going up and bench/ohp don't improve too much.

I did for about 6 months. The training philosophy is pretty neat with speed days and intensity days you never really get bored. The main problem is that a lot of the training is geared toward geared lifters. I switched to a more simple PPL routine and have been training for triathlons and feel a lot better.

Give me one good reason as to why you dislike Phil Heath. Not only is he the greatest bodybuilder of all time but he also has the balls to call out has beens like Arnold. He will go down in history as the man who won 10 Olympias, making him champion X.

>tfw want to lift but should probably take a rest day

Signs of overtraining?

How important is rest. Can I left the same exercises multiple days in a row? What if I do slightly different movements? Is it a gains killer or will it just help???

You are one lost little pup. Pick a program that aligns with your goals and stick with it. After a few months you'll intuitively understand everything you need to know.

You know you are overtrained when you're going a lot to the gym and eating decently and your lifts either stagnate or regress.
>>
>>42161859
Muscles grow during rest, not during workout. Rest days are very important, 1 to 3 a week.

What are /fit/'s expriences with it and what are the benefits of it?

Don't palm it. Wrap your fingers around it. Thumb should just be there for stabilizing and balance not bearing the load.

tell her to keep her hands off my woman and then get her phone number

She looks like a faggot so I know she'll be using the leg press machine. I design an intricate hoist and pulley system which lifts 1,000kg just as she is going for her 100th 10kg rep. In between her grunts I activate the hoist, insert the pin into the 1,000KG plate and then kill the hoist. She's instantly squashed. into a pulpy red mist. Only her mohawked scalp remains which I take and wear as a trophy.

My two week routine looks like this:

MTWTFSS MTWTFSS
AXBXAXX BXAXBXX

A: Squat, Bench, Row all 5x5
B: Deadlift, Overhead Press, Pull Up all 5x5

I want to fill in those Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I want to add things like: inclined crunches, curls, boxing for cardio, and something for tris that isn't dips. (I can't dip for medical reasons.)

Any suggestions on how I can fill out those two days without compromising recovery for my heavy compound days?
Is my routine dumb?

Thanks /fit/.

I would do OHP before deadlift
Plus you need some more accessory work

and try to hit the same muscles twice a week
>>
>>42162482
ABCABXX ?

Where C is accessories.
>>
>>42161767

ABA MWF one week
BAB MWF next week
Repeat

A: Squat, Incline scrape the rack press, Weighted pullups
B: Deadlift, incline scrape the rake press, weighted pullups

5/4/3/2/1 rep scheme for each exercise. 5x5 pretty much okay for beginners but that's it.

Easy to follow.

I'm 200 lbs. I want to get down to 175 and end up stronger and with more endurance.

My only gym buddy is a 50-something body builder who works one body part per day, focusing on volume. I've just been doing what he's been doing. Is this retarded?

I've lifted before and seen lots of improvement, but I'm not very strong so I'd still call myself a beginner if that helps.
