I also have a larger shot put that I use for shoulders/curls/triceps. My upper back and shoulders get sore during the day so it's a good way to stretch out
Also, commando pullups. If you've got to move around a lot like me then it's easy to get 100+ pullups each day even if you only do doubles & triples

I just don't get it. I can't feel any exercises properly in my back. All I get is pain in my lower back and a squeeze inside my arms. I've watched videos over and over and it just doesn't click with me.
I don't know if I'm that off in form or I have zero back strength and my arms are doing it all as compensation.

As long as you are pulling towards your center, you are working your back.
Its just that generally your arms start to feel the fatigue first so that is where you "feel" the exercises. Your back is still doing work.

I'll give you two exercises, op. They should be the first exercise done on each day for back
1) chinups. Slow, from a dead hang, slow, until chest touches bar, slow.
2) snatch grip deadlifts. Controlled, bar in contact with shins and thighs through entire ROM.
If you feel either in your arms, your grip is too weak. Do some sets until grip failure to ensure you're training grip and then use straps.

Replace junk food with fruit. Even binge on fruit if it helps, you don't have to cut it out completely from day one.
once you are used to not eating junk, then start cutting down the amount you get from fruit, this should be much easier as the body doesn't get a bomb of sugar when you eat fruit like it does from junk food, because the sugar in fruit comes with a lot of other longer digesting things.
