I had a 25 KG bag, that I could hang from the celing and fixate to the floor. Hella fun and good cardio. I just memorized some combinations, got a stop clock and went for it. You just need some light gloves to protect your knuckles and you're good to go.
Problem is though, it's extremly loud.

I've been getting into running recently and I've been trying to learn how to breathe properly so I don't fucking die after 2 minutes. People have been telling me to do "abdominal breathing" but I have no fucking idea what that means. All they can tell me is vague shit like "just breathe through your abdomen" and I don't fucking know what that means. WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

1. STAY HOME FROM THE GYM. Not only will you delay your recovery, you'll be spreading your germs around to everyone there.
2. SLEEP, EAT, and DRINK FLUIDS. No cutting! Your immune system needs fuel and building materials just like your muscles do. Depriving it will also delay recovery.
3. Sinus rinse. I'm serious. Get the bottle, the little packets to mix the solution, and distilled water, and follow the directions. Use as many times a day as you feel is necessary to keep your sinuses clear of the multi-colored gunk in them. Will help with symptoms and make you more comfortable.
4. Avoid things like aspirin, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen, that reduce your fever, if you can possibly do so. Supressing your fever will actually make you take longer to recover.
5. BE PATIENT. It'll probably take a week to fully recover. Don't rush it.

I don't smoke usually. But sometimes when I have a few drinks there's nothing I want more.

I drink every few weeks (let's say once every 1.5 months on average). I don't drink heavily, let's say about 4 pints on average. And I average ~5 smokes when I drink

How unhealthy is this?

sometimes I feel silly about the fact that I've only gained 11 (eleven) kilograms since beginning lifting in 2012, but when I look at pictures I can really see a difference and I feel good about my body and get to eat a decent amount of food

and I realize that my body and lifestyle are sustainable, I will be just as happy and healthy at 30 as I am now at 24, and probably well into my 40s and 50s.

Exactly. Whenever I see some like 6 foot tall skelly I always bake sure I take their weights and get in their way. I hate when 6 foot tall people, I mean skellies, go to my gym to just stand around and look awkward. What a bunch of oblivious fags with no self awareness.

This seems legitimate to me, and I have no arguments against it other than "eat big to get big" slogans. Allegedly there are some anti-aging benefits, but specifically I'm looking to exercise the mechanism in my body that switches from using glycogen as a fuel source to using fat for easier cutting.

I'm going to experiment on myself with a short fast next week and see how it impacts my lifts and body weight. Supposedly the doctor argues, with some sciency graphs that you don't "burn muscle" but I dunno... am I going to lose my gains /fit/??

Schedule for next week, targeting an early week fast for ~36 hours with only water and black coffee (morning only).
> Sunday: Eat Dinner normal, begin fast and sleep
> Monday: continue Fast, lift, consume post-workout protein
> Tuesday: Fast, no workout, eat dinner
> Wednesday: Normal eating, lift
> Thursday: Normal eating, off
> Friday: Normal eating, lift

Might not do the post workout shake Monday afternoon, because it would break the fast but i'm not sure.

Anyone have any pics/transformation stories, specifically from going weak to strong? I notice most stories/before & after pics involve somebody who can already squat 100lbs+ starting out. (For example)

Anyone start out only squatting the bar, or something similar?

I think most people that start out with just the bar do so to learn form and increase their mobility rather than for strength reasons.

Yes op, I wouldn't call myself strong now but definitely much better than before. 1 year ago I was the definition of skinnyfat, couldn't see the top part of my pubes with maybe 13 inch biceps. Now I've gotten to 16inch with considerable muscle mass on just about every part of me. I swear my shoulders have gotten wider as well. It can be done! I had trouble benching the bar, couldn't do a single pull-up. Eat, train, rest.
