Let's take a minute to really think about why we lift and how we came to the conclusion that a gym was necessary for our goals.

Is it safe to be a little bit like pic related once you get fit or you should just stay humble?

Also is it ok to do full bodyweight and the next day to do strong lifts like squats , deadlifts and barbell row?

Hello /fit, I would like some advice on how to build bigger calves. ATM mine are dyel mode, so I would like to know which exercises are good and which are bad.

Join the USMC. Do 12 mile humps up and down mountains with a 100lb pack and a 30lb machine gun mount for 4 years and then you will have god tier calves.

So I just ate a meal with a regular amount of protein and had to go to the toilet to take a shit about 20-30 minutes later. I don't know why but I noticed that whenever I cook vegetables with chicken, I have to go to the toilet pretty fast.

What does that actually mean for your gains if you have to take a shit pretty fast after eating a meal? Was the whole meal for nothing? Are all calories gone?

I'm trying to gain muscles rather than strenght or endurance. I can do 3x12 bench presses while really pushing myself on last 2-3s on second and last set with 55lb barbell. But when it comes to bicep curls I can barely do 8 before I simply can't raise it anymore. Would it be acceptable to lower the barbell to 48lb where I can at leastly do 3x10? Same goes for military press.

I'm legitimately curious to know if it's bad to decrease or increase weight depending on muscle group.

Don't enter panic mode if you stray from this rule. You will still be able to workout if you ate a couple of hours before and your cortisol level won't raise ad infinitum if you don't eat right after your workout.

If you are fat as fatass it's the only way to go IMO. If you are lean it works well too but once you get down to sub 15% bodyfat you have to eat like 300+ grams of protein a day so it can be challenging at that point just to eat that much chicken/turkey/fish.

I found 900 calories a day of just chicken and broccoli with vitamins to be easier than any other diet I've tried. It's so simple and limited to what you can eat that there's really no way to fuck up unless you have zero willpower. Most of the time you don't even want to eat your meal but you know you have to.

Mustard and Pickles will save your sanity.

Any questions let me know. It's really cool seeing daily progress, which you generally will on this diet if you do it right.
