Hey guys. I have a small (2cm diameter) hard lump on my chest, roughly above the position of the thymus.
It is not visibly raised, but touching it indicates it is a protuberance, or swelling of some kind. It also coincides with the location of a unremarkable pimple/boil that I've had in other areas.
I am 27 and drinking badly for the past few weeks. I also used to drink a lot and smoke tonnes.
I also have had swollen lymph glands for a long time (since childhood)
Am I going to die? I am going to drink brandy while I wait for a response. It's medicinal... right?
kill yourself degenerate

Should I beef up?
>Be me
>20 y/o fat sack of shit (280lbs 6ft)
>Content with my size bc I got a nice looking gf, doesn't seem to hinder my social life, and can be athletic to some extent
>One day me and the lady get into a really bad argument and break up
>She tells me I'm a fat disgusting pussy and she's never been physically attracted to me (After two years)
>Obligatory fuck you bitch your words don't hurt me I wasn't fat when I had my cock in your mouth
>"Heh, duck off a waters back"
>Go home and have a mental breakdown
>Disgusted with myself for a month, feel nothing but the purest pain when I look in the mirror
>Realize that the key to my self esteem issue can be solved easily
> Take a FCS and begin lifting
I'm still a fat sack of shit, but a 30lb lighter fat sack of shit and I'm feeling pretty good about my life.

>be me
> 6ft 120 lbs all through hs, lanklet my whole life
>started at about 16. did some p90x with my dad, some dumbbell stuff, + he had a bowflex and a very old bench
>p90x got me pretty lean, low bf, was looking good but not very strong. didn't stick with it long term
>work out on and off for a few years
>21, still 120-130 lbs
>start drinking a quart of ice cream every day, work out regularly, just dumbbells, bulk to 260 over a year and a half or so. Had very high bf, probably approaching 30%. Lifts skyrocketed though.
>finally got homegym, power rack, barbell, plates, stopped ice cream, cut/maintained for about a year, dropped to 205, 17% bf
>am now 17% bf, 215 lb, clean bulkan through winter
I went from 120 lb twink to 215 and relatively strong, it is all worth it. The kids from hs who used to push me around for being so small and the bitches who called me ugly have all gotten very fat or skinny.
The ones who were nice to me are usually impressed.
>was into /fa/ back when dadcore was the hottest shit
>accidentally clicked /fit/ instead of /fa/ one day
>hmm, this might be fun, why not try it out
>tried it out, liked it, kept trying it out
Here I am 6 years later. Dadcore died, but I still lift.
>I had manboobs and thought I was just fat
>Lost a lot of weight, borderline anorexia territory
>Boobs were still there
And so began my fitness journey
>Bike to and from work everyday (20 miles total)
>Lift 4 times a week
>Bike anywhere from 30-100 miles on the weekend
>TDEE is like 3500-3600. Need to eat over 4000 calories a day to bulk
What are some extremely calorie dense foods that still have nutritional value that I can bulk on?
Whole milk you retard.
Also did some simple googling for you, you faggot moron.

>diet in check

Serious question - why does anyone drink energy drinks like Red Bull when preworkout powder like Mutant Madness is better for you, cheaper, and more effective?
Is energy drink marketing just that much better?

Learn how to season your food. Life doesn't have to be bland and chicken doesn't have to be sad.
People use to call me autistic because I never liked to put mustard or mayonnaise on my food. Now that I lift people just say I'm eating healthy. I will never get why it's so hard for people to eat healthy. It's just food my man there's so many other things to life.
What does /fit/ think about working out twice a day (6am & 9pm)? Either the same workout twice or should i hit two different groups?
you should only do this if you're under some extraordinary time constraints that make it necessary to combine two sessions
you will probably not make better gains working out twice a day, and you'll probably burn out much faster
I do weights and cardio in the same day.
A little liss in the AM for dem heart gains and weights in the pm
I do legs in the morning and upper body at night, next day do abs and then repeat the cycle.
I have no idea if it's working, now I'm skinny fat with decent arms, shoulders and legs I guess?
What's your experience with muscle memory /fit/?
If you have like 2 years of gains that are all but lost after a hiatus, how long would it take for you to re-gain that same amount of muscle considering it comes back faster?
>>42759465
depends on how long you stop, but you should get your level back after a few months
Hey /fit/ because of you I was able to get diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome hypermobility type. Life has gotten better, and shittier after being diagnosed, but because of you bros I've been able to move forward.
For those of you that don't know what it is
>extra flexible and stretchy skin
>joints like to bend backwards
>poor muscle tone
I've been lifitng for about a year now, 4 times a week with about 15-30 mins of cardio.
I normally work one or two muscle groups at a time and do 3 sets of 10 reps. I have seen a little improvement but going up in weights always causes me to have my joints sublax or over extend, causing pain and messing up my form.
Do you have any advice on a way of lifting that would help my joints stay in place, and allow me to actually get some gains? Thanks bros.
>>42759438
yeah dont do cardio so much.
stick to your basic lifts, and eat a calorie surplus.
consistency is key
also >pic related
>>42759464
>Joints like to bend backwards
>Stick you your strength training
....k
>>42759499
okay, maybe less compund and just isolate more. dont do squats, but do machine leg presses or donkey kicks. theres literally 1000s of variants of every type of exercise for every muscle group. try bodybuilding dot com. see what works well and what doesnt. we arent in the gym with you and cant tell what works and what doesnt. if all else fails get a high end personal trainer than can suit to your needs.

...to look at the catalog and tell me this is an acceptable state for /fit/.
>be me, 21 years old

What can I do? Is there some protein or something? Any tips like walking or something like that?
>tfw you're the only lanklet in the gym
>>42759279
Lanklet isn't a real word, we're just called men.
>>42759279
>tfw at all times you are benching more weight than the other scrubs on the benches.
