I actually want a way of loosing weight without winning muscle. All my fat goes to thighs and butt, but not to the rest of the body :S

Let's say you've been lifting for 5 years, but you've never cut, and can't be fucked counting calories/macros, but want to get lean..

What would be the best way to approach this?


If all I consumed was whey protein, chicken breast, and vegetables, surely and continue on lifting like normal, that I'd lean out without much problem?

IRL I'll fucking cream myself when I see a 6'5" dude, I'll see maybe 3-5 tops every day.
But on /fit/ everyone and their dog is at least 6'3" with 6'5" being extremely common (let's not even bring dick size up). Are ya'll lying?
I feel like the lanklets on here are trying to compensate for dick or face, you don't end up on /fit/ unless you're insecure about something.

Okay, I know not all men are the same, but I have a general question for those of you who started fat/chubby and worked to get /fit/.

Apparently my boyfriend used to be really fat before I met him. He now appears very healthy to me, though with a tiny bit of fat on his belly. He seems really insecure about "getting fat" (he does LOVE to eat, like it really brings him obvious joy which is kind of infectious) and he makes jokes about it all the time. Tbh I couldn't give a shit if he actually got fat, but I'm sure he doesn't want that. Is it more important that I support him emotionally and let him know that I will love him and be attracted to him regardless, or should I try to give him motivation to diet in addition to his gym routine?
What's better for him, assuming he would never get unhealthy-tier fat again?

The problem is not what he eats at home (and we don't live together), it's him "going ham" and meming "gains" when we go out to eat with friends. He eats himself uncomfortable.
Should I intervene? It would hurt most women's feelings but... I dunno, men are different.

Like many disciplines people inflate it's importance with ritual and spirituality, but practicing conscious mental control and setting aside time to just clear ones mind and de-stress is extremely healthy. It's like yoga, very real and tangible benefits to practicing strictly controlled movements and improving your flexibility, but it won't give you super powers or unlock your chakra or something.

Step 2
Exhale fully and hold breath until you gasp (you can time your hold and try to improve)
Step 3
Inhale fully and hold another 20 Seconds

And that is one round preferable to three
