>Starting school in 3 weeks
>Coincidentally starting my bulk at around the same time, been cutting the past 3 months
>Been going really well, been tracking my calories exactly and it's been easy since it has been summer break
>Want to start bringing my own lunches to school when it starts, so I can calculate the calories exactly, will be going on a lean bulk (400-500 surplus)
>Want to have the bulk as effective as possible, with accurate calorie counting etc so I make good gains while not getting fat
>I talk to my mom and she keeps saying no and that I should just eat at school since it's free
It's not really that the school lunch quality is awful, there's usually some protein source (fish/meat etc) along with rice/pasta/potatoes aswell as different types of veggies/beans always. It's just that I'll have to try to estimate calories and could probably be off by 100-500 kcal when doing that, which will worsen the effectivity of my bulk. What do you think /fit/, is my mom right? Should I just try to estimate the school lunch calories anyway? (I'll still count calories for everything else, such as breakfast dinner etc). Thanks bros

I just squatted for the first time in my life, I did 5x5 with 95 lbs (lol)
Now I can barely walk, my knees were buckling as I walk out of the gym.
Is this normal? Am I just exceptionally weak, or am I doing something wrong?

If you're really out of shape this is normal. Had this, plus delayed onset muscle soreness for a few days afterwards. It'll get better. Don't give up.
