so here's a deadlift thread for everyone to talk about their deadlift stuff. how do you remember to deadlift properly? how many reps/sets do you do?

i set up with bar mid-foot as the SS guy suggests, and really try to focus on involving my feet and legs. some reps i'll notice "ugh i did that wrong! felt it in my back; must make sure it's the legs working..."

so i'm still learning but feel like i'm getting better hopefully. i notice i "bounce" a little at the top; is this normal?

oh and i do reps of 6-10, 3 sets. once i can do 10 reps for all 3 sets i increase weight.

I don't wake up in the morning feeling refreshed anymore, I can't hit the gym with the intensity I need to progress. What's wrong with me fit?
Example work day:

7am Wake up

Eat banana/protein shake

2 scoops of c4 preworkout

Gym 2 hours, warm up with cardio then hit the weights hard.

Go to work, drinking lots of water at work.

Eat every three hours at work

Meal 1 rice and chicken
Meal 2 kale, nuts and chicken
Meal 3 rice and chicken
Meql 4 Protein shake during drive home.

Usually tired after work I nap for 1-2 hours

Hit the gym for 2 hours

Sleep by 11-12pm

What do I need to change to get my energy back so I can go attack the gym?

DAE get infuriated watching personal trainers at their gym?
Today when I was working out, I watched some 50 year old wrinkled hag being the worst PT I'd ever seen.
She had her client do about a million different exercises, all pointless meme exercises like bodyweight stuff with zero resistance and stupid shit on bosu balls, then going over and talking for 5 minutes straight in between sets of half rom leg presses. You could barely call it a "workout", it was more like a 30 minute stretching session.
It pissed me off to watch the client who obviously wants to get in shape pay money for this bitch to have her do a hundred 1/8 squats and make no progress. I sincerely felt bad

There's this fat black woman who usually has a female PT in my gym. The female PT makes her do meme exercises that are super fucking easy and talks loads.

One week the female PT wasn't around so the woman had this male guy. He's not the best but he's tall, big and I've seen him deadlift like 3 pl8 so he at least fucking lifts.

He had her doing actual strenuous stuff and all the fat cunt did was complain saying she can't do it and that her normal PT doesn't make her do this.

People who have PTs in commercial gyms don't want to get fit. They want to feel better about themselves.
