Broccoli is fine, it can get a bit sad and mushy in the microwave but that's life.

if you don't have the dedication, self-discipline, and motivation to go to the gym and stay in the gym, you're not gonna stick with it. save everyone else the trouble of having to wait for you to finish with the squat rack or bench and just stay at home.

So... /fit/... today I was banned from Anytime Fitness in Australia. Country-wide ban.
Along with this ban I have a court hearing in October.

What happened?

Well this one lady, she's there probably once a week for 20 minutes. Says she "doesn't have time to workout" even though her instagram is full of alcohol and clubbing.
She takes every barbell she can find and hogs them to do glute raises. Instead of putting weights on the same bar, she puts more weight on each bar like it's an ez-curl barbell.

Then she walks over to the cable machine and does those dumb kick back things. Dunno what they're called but they do nothing at all.

I just realized you're actually supposed to keep on doing the same volume when you cut in order to keep muscle.

No wonder I keep going DYEL mode everytime I cut in the past - I've always cut my volume down to pretty much nothing, and just lifted to maintain strength, with pretty much zero high rep sets.

maintain volume as much as possible, even if you have to take a little weight off the bar

That's why e.g. SS is shit for size (not enough volume for a beginner, which helps the focus on recovery for the lifts) while advanced powerlifting routines with volume work are good, though both have strength as a main goal
