What do you do besides weightlifting anons? What are you putting those gains toward?
I recently got back into rock climbing, a little indoor to get some certifications and now outdoor so I don't have to pay $70 a month for wall access.
I also am part of the local caving grotto and go on cave mapping expeditions about once a month, and smaller cave dives every once in a while.

I have read some comparison between Herbalife and a few popular supplements shop shakes and Herbalife was really shitty.

Does a scrawny manlet stand a chance in performing well during basic training given a year prior of physical preparation?

Better find a good grader homie. But really it's not an unreasonable goal. If you're still too skinny they'll feed you double portions to bulk you up.
Not that hard, especially with a year to train beforehand.
Do a lot of pyramid training for situps and pushups; stick in a fair number of pullups and don't forget that it's a running man's world.
HIIT is your friend, and so is greasing the groove.

I start my Monday workouts with 5x5 deadlifts and I can pull more weight with bare handed mixed grip than normal overhand grip with straps. Do you think that mixed grip will cause imbalances in my back? Ronnie also did deadlifts with mixed grip.
if you are doing rows and pull ups/chin ups, imbalances will be negated
If you're worried, switch grip every set.

I doubt this is true overall. You may have had a bad set with straps and decided you were weaker with them. I'd bet 9 of 10 sets with straps you'll lift more than with mixed grip.

On a cut and it's damn near impossible for me to satisfy all recommended daily values while still eating ~180g protein a day. Which nutrients should I be prioritizing? Which foods compound the most essential ones with minimal garbage (eg added sugar)? I've found soy milk to help immensely since lab scientists just go apeshit in creating a nutrient-dense concoction until just short of inedible. What are your strategies?
