Mines definitely all about the small lean and natural aesthetics, even a lot of ex-steroid users at my gym who said they got over the whole "size game" and decided to focus on health and being small and lean instead of worrying about being as big as possible. Been lifting there since 2003. For sure it was all about being as big as possible back in 2003-2012. I noticed a shift towards health/lean/natty in 2012 to now.
I was on holiday in another state and went into pretty popular gym and I saw tons of steroid users, really huge guys, it looked like my gym 5+ years ago. These guys still chasing the size game.....it's a never ending battle, hopefully one day they'll learn.

Is it possible to build decent physique with dumbbells only? I have a couple of plate loaded ones (so I can regulate the weight and go pretty heavy if needed) plus a bench (flat/incline/decline) and a pull-up bar. I guess arms, shoulders, chest and (to an extent) upper back won't be a problem, but what about legs, lower back and core? Theoretically, I could squat and deadlift with DBs but shit's going to get unstable and dangerous as weight goes up. I could also do lunges and shit like that but then I don't want to "invent" a """program""" that's going to be waste of time and energy. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any good dumbbell-oriented program.
Any advice? I'm mostly interested in hypertrophy, not raw strength. Obviously, I'm not counting on getting fucking huge either, I just want to look decent by normie standards.

Drinking has always had a really hard affect on my system so I never did it all that much, but since going in for some blood work on my cholesterol (which was high, but my HDL ratio was great) my doctor said I produce high liver enzymes. Got checked again, same thing.
Say, for instance, I do just have a fucked up liver; how am I going to handle not being able to drink? I go to a big university where there's a huge drinking culture, and though I'm not a huge partier to begin with, not drinking would basically be canceling out 80% of regular social activity there. It's so frustrating that alcohol is so engrained into our culture.
