I have about 2 cups of rice, 1 chicken breast, and 2 leaves of kale, twice a day. I don't consume anything else except varying amounts of water or the odd glass of 1% milk.

Being on a budget, this works pretty well for me, but I want to know if there's anything else I should be wary of. Some have said that it'd be best to measure the amount of water I get, and try to drink as much as possible. I also hear differing opinions on how important having breakfast is. I'm shooting for weight loss at the moment. I'm 6'2", 290lbs. Any tips?

Honestly I'd eat more vegetables, you're not getting nearly enough micronutrients. Also you should work some fats in to keep hormones at a good level. Eat some almonds and eat more diverse vegetables. Also eat a piece of fruit daily. Personally I'm vegetarian so I would switch out chicken for beans but that's your call.

Also make sure you're eating brown rice. Switch it up sometimes for oatmeal because it has so many micronutrients in high quantities.

Any of you that like distance running. Please explain to me.
Doing 7 miles an hour outside it totally doable, but if I put the treadmill to 7 miles an hour, it's too god damn fast and I feel like I'm gonna fall down.

Any free smartphone apps that track distance in the most basic sense. I can't afford a fitbit. Is that a meme anyway?

I already know how many calories I burn per hour by walking, but I just want a distance tracker so I don't have to keep using google maps when I get home.

Im 6'2" 193, ex-fat and marching band (tuba) so my calves are big enough already. Even just doing occasional calf raises, they still grow. Lanklet and just want big arms desu, I wish I could trade two inches of calf for an even an inch of arms.

on the other hand you can alter the muscles on your face eg masseter muscles which can expand your jaw out to the sides through chewing something gum (make sures its tough) also correct tongue posture should minimize the damage to a certain level

Buy chios mastic gum and chew a big wad of it hard for an hour or so each day. Be careful not to wear out your joints. If you have good masseter insertions it can definitely improve your jaw but if you don't you will look like a gerbil.

The best solution is to save up for jaw surgery. If your jaw is receded there is a good chance you have sleep apnea so insurance may pay for it

How important is diet really? I work out hard, look good, feel good, but man my diet is shit.

Breakfast:
>2 poptarts and a monster energy zero ultra

Lunch:
>whatever they have at work

Dinner:
>cup of easy mac, some ham, and a 6 pack of bud light

Like I have no health problems, sleep fine, have plenty of energy. Is diet really a problem if everything else is going well and I'm not having trouble making gains?

At what time does /fit/ preffer to workout/exercise/swim/run/jog?

I preffer working out at night. Everyone is asleep, no one to bother me, nothing distracting me, and afterwards, I feel tired and relaxed so I can go to sleep easier.

On weekends I swim at the morning beacuse there is less peaple there. Not that I mind other peaple swiming, its just that after 12 the pool fills with a shitload of kids.
