His """full body""" workouts that he constantly preaches consist of traps (meme pulls above the knee), shoulders chest and triceps from benching/dips/pressing, and biceps and back from exercises that exclude the lower body like lat pulldowns and chins.
There are tons of deadlift variations to pick from: sumo, stiff legged, behind-the-back, trap bar, zercher, reeves, jeffersons and they can be done at varying different heights of the floor, including at a deficit, to switch it up. But according to this faggot they're all ego lifts unless they start 2 inches from lockout.

Deadlifts aren't as good for traps because a weight you can pull from the floor is lighter than what you would want to use for full trap stimulation, which is why your rack pull would be significantly heavier. There are also other exercises that can work the muscles worked during a deadlift that one could use if they didn't particularly care for deadlifts.
Now will you relax? You sound so mad that someone got results with a method you don't subscribe to.

I'll admit to not knowing too much about kickboxing, but I'm betting you'll have to get used to clinching to tie a guy's arms up, leaning your weight on him to make him tired. You'll also have to get used to all kinds of subtle and not-so-subtle fouling. Watch Bernard Hopkins, Terry Norris, Andrew Golota, Edison Miranda, to have some idea of the shit dudes try to get away with. You should probably also look up Carlos Monzon and the Klitschkos during their prime to see how to fight tall, and look up Paul Williams to see how not to (watch him get poleaxed by Sergio Martinez; if you have any talent for boxing you'll see it coming a mile away because he just doesn't adjust).

I started lifting about 2 months ago and have been seeing a good amount of strength gains in all my lifts and I have this board to thank for that. So, thank you.
I wanted to ask about cortisol, though. I've had a large amount of visceral fat my whole life. Even when I was at my /fit/test in 11th grade when I was in ROTC, I always had a gut.
Even when I was depressed years ago and eating at a huge deficit and nearly underweight, I still had a lot of fat in my mid section. My arms were in full-blown Auschwitz mode, but I had a gut.
Recently, I started researching this and I think I may have elevated cortisol levels. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I've looked into cortisol supplements to lower my cortisol levels in hopes that it'll work, but I'm not sure I should fuck around with it if it's bullshit.

Keep your feet pointed straight and keep your abs and glutes flexed when standing. Work on strengthening the abs and glutes and stretching your hip flexors and lower back. Took me about 2 months to fix mine when I started trying.
