Any idea where to get a backpack that's similar to Blind Chic's big bag wolf? I like the look of it but I'm not prepared to pay 200 dollars even if it's made to order

I've seen backpacks like this in like thrift stores everywhere in France, they're like 10 euros too... pretty sure they're vintage french military bags

>any pics?

the first thing he posted was a pic. did you not see it? the black and white photo

>>9402211
seconding what anothear anon said. this is pretty simple. buy a pair of regular oxfords/bucks, buy a creeper sole, take these things to a cobbler and have it done. itll be at least 3x less expensive than any designer creepers on the market, either retail or second-hand, and thats basically all they do anyway, short of some finer details on the design of the upper.

why are fuccbois always so helpless in threads like these. i always imagine you people can barely drink a glass of water without having to ask someone to post an infograph on the topic
>>
>>9402236
Im not in france man :/
>>
>>9402250

The material and center seam construction are pretty hard to find in another shoe, though.
>>
>>9403273
then look up the style on the internet u noob. see if anyone is selling it.
>>
>>9403281
Well if you care that much about such specific details then the only real option is to save up and buy the original. Finding cheap alternatives is all about finding things that fill the same role despite lacking key design elements.
>>
>>9402197
>>9402197

I'll take a photo now
>>
>>9403392
searched it on ebay and vintage military bags are selling for 200+ incl shipping. None of them has this style though and the blind chic one is around this price range anyway so I might just cop it
>>
>>9400837
look like vans lol
>>
>>9405874
how so? it's a handwelted derby, wildly different to a canvas plimsoll
>>
>>9399657
clarks desert london, resoled
>>
>>9405390
yeah mate, go ahead, indulge yourself :)
>>
>>9405883
how much does resoling usually cost?
>>
>>9405901
depends on construction of the shoe, materials used and exactly what you're replacing. anything from $30 for a heel block to $140 on an unconventional resole. go to a cobbler and discuss options.
>>
>>9402250
What show's this from?
>>
>>9405874
in what universe do they look like vans?? r u a blind man trying to fit in?
>>
>>9405910
creepers are more likely to be an 'unconventional resole', right? I've never done this before
>>
>>9406934
um yes
>>
>>9406934
i was mostly talking in terms of construction, and how a repair might be approached. if a shoe doesn't follow a typical welt construction (goodyear, blake, rapid blake, bologna) a cobbler might have to get creative. slapping two inches of crepe or leather on a blucher isn't really unconventional in terms of steps taken even if the end result might be out of the ordinary.
>>
>>9401483
polerstuff makes a rolltop bag, but you might be hard-pressed to find one as good looking as this

>>
>>9401483
Really surprised to see this pop up on /fa/
I bought one of these a couple of years ago from a tiny Bigcartel shop. It's a really nice bag and worth the money, although you could probably diy one if you have sewing experience.
>>
>>9409789
What color was yours? They only have green now :/
And which model did you buy? I'm not sure whether the small green whale is big enough for a laptop, thick parka and water bottle
