ITT: We predict the next big meme clothes
>>
I think we are slowly gonna loop back into bright colors since black is ded and palewave will catch on everywhere this year.

The overall garment styles won't change, but I'd imagine that we will see a resurgence of 80s styles as well.

Palewave is hardly a thing, seems like it has gotten bit more popular now though I have no fucking idea why.
Judging from WAYWTs normcore is the thing right now, everyone is a basic as fuck bitch who wouldn't stand out the slightest on the streets, the people posting on WAYWTs dress like any pleb I see daily.
I'm guessing it will 'evolve' to even more relaxed fits and away from the skinny and skellington clothing of the past, probably going towards earthtones mostly and some saturated colors as well.
>>
>>9391811
>black is ded
...on /fa/

in the real world tho black is very much alive

>palewave will catch on everywhere this year
....again, mostly on /fa/, although i have started to see it a little more irl

It's literally a a fucking color palette
I have seen it for years now on the streets at least weekly.

We are going to see japanese comfy core just baggy on baggy on baggy on pale and normal core will stay pretty big but as we approach 2020 i am imaging an early early 2000's revival like big rapper shirts and shit idk you feel me if you know its hard to articulate
>>

>dressing normally is most popular
What the fuck am I reading? Are you guys retarded and bent on seeing trends in fashion? Jesus christ I bet you think jeans+tshirt is fucking trending too.
>>
>>9392004
No, it really isn't.
There is nothing that defines it, you can post any sort of fit and as long as the colors are there it's "palewave"
>>
early 20th century workwear
>>
>>9392072
What are you even saying
It's pretty obvious the "look ima basic bitch" trend that seems to plague WAYWTs is just a derivate of normcore.

Comfy Jap Americana. It's generally accepted that Japan is a season or two ahead of US fashion. Before long fuccbois will be throwing out their skinny jeans for relaxed fit indigo and shooting their mouths about how comfy they are. MFA is in the process of accepting gothninja and achromatic streetwear, so Boots and cuffed jeans wont be 'le pleb meme' anymore. Personally I'm lookin forward to it, I fucking hate skinny jeans.

the trend was definitely there in 2008, but it was more focused on traditional, masculine, American styles with fitted clothes and basic outfits. Now it's more whimsical and playful with relaxed silhouettes and more "high fashion" pieces that arent neccesarily historically accurate.

>>
>>9395799

>>
>>9395778
2014 was mostly people moving on to normcore basically. No one likes to refer to it as such for whatever reason but that's what it is more or less.
>>
>>9395807
black aint a colour mate
>>
>>9395799

Monochrome is all one colour. These collections feature one colour that is drowned out by a large presence of black. Think a ratio in the range of Black:Colour 60:40-70:30.

If you were paying any attention to the runways this year and last year, you would know that this is making a big comeback through a lot of menswear designers.
But of course you didn't follow the runways because you're probably a lazy fuccboi who gets fashion advice by /fa/'s trends.

Shit like this has been relevant on runaways for long ass time, the point is not "blackblocking", in fact, 'blackblocking' doesn't even fucking exist as a term because there is already "COLORBLOCKING" which covers this thing, and no, exclusively using black + bright color is not some next big "thing"
>>

I mean sure, it's coming around again in some strong ways but I wouldn't exactly go around giving it a name and acting like it's hot shit, it's a classic staple of fashion and design in general.

Because it's yet another some self important faggot who tries to seem like forward thinking individual here, you are shitting up the board with this.
So just to level with you, how about googling "colorblocking 2015", cause you know, that's what it is in the end, you just happened in your infinite wisdom to bless it with such a avant garde name as 'black blocking' people aren't aware.
Now, you will find some articles about designers who actually had colorblocking as pretty relevant element on their collections, but what's that? None of the articles have any of the pics you have posted here and showed us. Hardly any of the pictures have black as the dominant color with some highlights with some bright color. Absolutely no one has used the term "blacblocking"
Oh but surely it's everyone else who is wrong! Those silly fashion journalists, what do they know, you are the forward thinking young genius, the only person who noticed this rising new trend that is happening all around the runaways, how could have everyone else missed it?

Sorry dude but you are way too emotionally involved in this argument. Are you autistic by any chance? I've only known people on the spectrum to throw so much of a tantrum.

>>
>>9396116
>emotionally involved
Nah man I just think you're a fag and your shits all retarded.
Instead of discussing this like it was actual thing on real fashion forums your force it on anonymous imageboard. You keep doing it, seems like forcing is the best way to create microtrends.
>>
>>9396116
No, after reading the posts it seems like he pretty much nailed it on the head...

You are way too emotionally involved in making this about you, something that "you" "discovered" - as he pointed out it has been around since forever and you are attempting to make another shitty microtrend about it on /fa/
>>
>>9396116

please stop this nonsense
>>
>>9396116
>too emotionally involved in this argument
Now this is projecting if I ever saw any. Your name is literally blackblocking, are you sure it's him who is too emotionally involved?
>>
>>9396129

>literally "you're a fag"
Shows just how mature you are.

>>9396130

I like this trend a lot. I'm discussing it, I'm posting pictures, I have a name so people will know that associate and know that this is the style that I like. How is that forcing it? If shining a light on a trend - regardless of its age - is "forcing it" then this entire board is doomed to stay stagnant.

What have I possibly got to gain from being the "discoverer" of this trend? Do you really think that I will go to Vogue or Reddit or any other entity and brag about me "discovering" it? Of course not. That's retarded.
If you think I have any sort of ego about this, that is your projection and not something that I will not take blame for.
Stop kneejerking at everything new because you think that people have an agenda. You must be a very bitter person to be around.

After the "hipster lumberjack" look starts to get tiring people will venture into other manly work wear. People will start dressing in work wear and blue collar clothes like Carhart and Dickies but with the modern hipster modifications.

Then when beards get overdone(which to me they already are) people will start shaving again after playing around with norm-core and pale wave people will use those light color jeans and shirts abd want to toughen and dirty up that pale look and start going for the 50's greaser look.
