yeah, i'm signed with Ford Models in LA actually -- and pending some issues with my current NY agency, later might be w Ford in NY too. They're obviously incredible as far as bookings and stuff going plus the prestigiousness of the name. i'd probably say that (at least with the pillar NY/LA offices) you should try for a mother agency first. they're a little hesitant signing newcomers w/o any other agencies, but having a m/a should help.

i wear a lot of the designer stuff i get from shoots/shows and all because money isn't always great when you're modeling full time (like one day you get a $1k booking for the day and then nothing for 2 weeks). lot of alexander wang, some smaller botique firms like drifter industries (look them up, they're fucking dope), a lot of shit i see on here like minimal paris and stuff.

i guess i'd say that my end goal is to meet interesting people like designers and notable people. maybe work my way into designing down the road. for the first one as an example, when i was shooting with brian lichtenberg a month or two back (like actually brian, not a photographer for him), he was telling me what kanye is like irl and miley and all these really high up people. we were just riding around in his kardashian-mobile mercedes talking about like the biggest people in the world. it was so surreal and i hope that over the next few years i get to meet people as interesting and notable as him, you know? and i agree on the blog/diary part. i have a blog (tylermcferson.com) but i don't really do text posts on it or things related to me bc i've felt like it's too self-promotional but now that i think about it, maybe i will.
