I'm a cyclist and as a result of year of cycling I have disproportionately bulging thigh/glute/calf muscles. I'm only a size 36 waist, 34 length. Pants are impossible because everything squeezes and its fucking uncomfortable. So far the best thing I've found is the Levi's new 541 cut (for football players). any other suggestions. Like to stay stylish.
I'm a track and field sprinter and I have very thin legs, but I have a very large upper body. We seem to be opposites. Sorry, I can't really help. I wear pants that are similar to the Outlier Climbers.
I'm like you and at 61kg, I too have trouble finding jeans that fit without squeezing the shit out of my thighs. my recommendation = denim woven on low tension looms for that stretch & ruggedness; see pure blue japan or japan blue (if you're price sensitive) over at denimio
and how's base coming along m9s?

Levi's Commuter line puts elastic in their pants so they're a tad bit stretchy and are extremely comfy.
Good idea is to find yourself a nice tailor. just buy pants that fit in the waist and thigh and don't worry about how long they are or how they fit below the knee. Just let the tailor take care of the rest.
I'm a purebred athlete. I'm a boxer and a sprinter. I even played on my highschool football team for a year. All while weighting 132 pounds. I weight even less now, and I have more lean muscle then I did then. The only thing I don't have going for me, athletics wise, is my height.
You're freaking me out.
If you're "looking to start biking more" you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I cycle 200+ miles a week, mostly mountain biking and my legs aren't that huge.
Road bikers tend to have baby little legs unless they're crit racers on a lifting routine.
I'm in Chicago so I mostly commuter bike, but I've always used the highest gear. I use a specialized crossroads hybrid bike. I honestly don't know how my legs got like this but it really can't be much else than that because I don't neccessarily lift that often.
to get this thread back on track...
squatbro here. i like Levi's slim straight. Enough room in the thighs (and with some elastic), but they taper down appropriately in the calves so it still looks stylish. I can wear proper boots with them, so no need for bootcut. I buy a waist one size bigger than my own to accommodate for bulking season and it works fine as long as I have a belt.
No, everyone actually buys pants that are too long. I'm 6'2" and wear a 32 inseam. Guys just love their pants to lay on their shoes and drag on the ground. I wear 32-32, the most commonly bought size.
If you don't have abs you're fat
If you aren't over 160lbs you're a genetic failure as a man
If you're under 5'10" you're a genetic failure as a man

This. It's generally okay for pants to be large or even baggy in the thigh, it just looks retarded when the leg is too large from the knee down. Get that shit tapered to something that still fits you and you're good to go.
