I guess, there is nothing wrong with them, but most formal shoes are nondescript. I would prefer something with visible laces. If you work just requires leather shoes, I would get steel capped boots, they last for centuries and are very comfortable to stand in all day. But since its for your job I wouldn't worry about the aesthetics of your shoes, just functionality

Fjällräven is great quality so that's nice, I'm not really a fan of the Greenland Winter model, I'd get the regular or the down version instead, mainly cause I'm not too into the synthetic lining, but if you think that is what you need, go for it.

Yea pretty much like in the picture. The leg opening is kinda wide tho, look at pic.

Pic related, btw you might notice I have slight knee bags on the japan blue jeans. this is probably due to a few reasons, first I'm 6'5" so my knees are probably not where they should be according to the cut of the jeans. And they got soaked yesterday so sitting down probably stretched out the knees slightly.

I still can't understand how leg opening works. It's pretty good on 511, but quality of them is shit. All of selvedge I saw always has this wide opening. I bought Unbranded Tapered once and sold them pretty fast since I couldn't really stand such a wide opening.
