Post confessions, /fa/.
I wear Abercrombie and Hollister jeans.
i look into buying the right fits, i try to find fashionable articles of clothing and try mixing it all together to compose a good outfit but at the end of the day i honestly have no fucking idea what i'm doing
also, i can't into socks to save my life
Greg wool sucks my nigga. I think its fine since its a neutral color. Also wool if you live in a cold area.
PS where my effay new englands bros at. Its just begun. Let's pray for a mild winter.
It's the same shit and I don't have to worry about it shrinking in the wash or something. Yesterday I copped a CK dress shirt for 3.74$. Nothing wrong with the color, thread or buttons.
These shitty $35 Guess high tops are my favorite pair of shoes.
It takes me atleast an hour to get a good fit together and I have to try on everything to put one together because im unsure of how my clothes actually fit
>not wearing the 2000$ gold plated look alikes
this fucking guy
I wear fast fashion a lot because I'm fat :( I need to motivate myself to lose weight because I know how to actually dress myself in nice clothes but being fat will make anything I wear look like shit.
>I don't buy clothes that are more expensive than $100. The only exceptions are for winter parkas.
>I don't go to barbershop, I cut my hair by my-self
>I fall for the roshe meme
> I wear white or black tees every single day
> I don't wear jeans that haven't been altered by me
>martens/uniqlo/cm/llbean/hm is what i am dressed in ;_;
disgusting, as is your first confession
This talk of investing into shoes, such as saying "oh dude these boots will last you a decade! that's like 40 bucks a year shoes!" some people have the income to not mind spending 80 to 120 dollars on shoes a year, because they have the income for it. Not everyone enjoys the idea of having the same item worn for a decade.
The only jeans I've worn within the last three years are 527's.
>My favorite pair of jeans are from zara
>I really believe that the European Stan smith is the most useful, versatile, iconic and valuable shoe on the market.
> I believe that The AmericanApparel's 2001 fine t-shirt is the best fitting tee in the market.
>i have a gf who wears rick
>ive secretly been seeing a wbff pro diva
>even though im in a relationship with a girl who people on here would consider 8/10
>i lift weights and prefer /fa/ over /fit/
>i like my long shirts and dont mind that they look like skirts.
oh another one. my style has been gravitating toward the style of this rich ass chinese lesbian at my school. she doesn't hesitate to spend 1000 dollars on a single purchase. you can say that my fits are her fits on a budget. not that sad about it though. i don't really want to spend so much money on clothing that i am gonna grow tired of later.
I am constantly aware of my posture, hair, how the clothes lay on me etc etc and i'm incredibly insecure about myself - whenever i hear a slight laughter from any direction i assume it has to do something with me.
D-doing it for you, rick
>All my pants are from h&m three years ago because they're still perfectly fine
>Too anxious to try anything out of the norm like I used to in high school because I don't know anyone in college and vice versa
>I'm deeply in love with koishi because she looks like she's dead
you're alright. we need some positive contrast to all the stupid assholes who think it's fashionable to wear black only and nothing else ever.
I don't understand such people. I think I'd go crazy because that shouldn't be the only color in somebody's life to wear.
sometimes I wear colors that don't fit my type.
I'm a pale, dark blonde dude and sometimes I wear purple tshirts with v-necks that I bought ages ago. I wear olive green stuff as well occasionally, even though I know very well it doesn't compliment my skintone at all. Blue would be best, I guess. I just like to be colorful.
I'm 25 and still sometimes shop in the Juniors department, or Juniors-type stores like Forever 21.
To be fair, it's only for basics or for something I need for an emergency.
Like one time I was going out to a bar later with some friends and wore some boots. On the way, I realized the weather was warmer than usual so I made a quick stop to Forever 21 to get a cheap pair of "dressy" sandals.
I fucking hate H&M like nothing else and only like some of the brands there like "DIVIDED" for example.
I buy my stuff at C&A only because at least they make more expressive clothing but I can only afford the Angelo Litrico stuff which looks surprisingly great and is good quality for such low prices.
I'm a poorfag.
I find it kinda fun to find designer stuff from second-hand/thrift stores. For me it's like a treasure hunt.
One time I got a Marc Jacobs purse, still with tags, for $60. Apparently the woman who donated it, just dropped it off the day before and said it was a gift from an ex-boyfriend.
I didn't think this was actually the case. Must be their shitty plain styles that offends me so much and that I find overpriced because I look at it and think I get nothing for my money.
Got a nice brown hat with leaf motives and a striped blue-grey scarf by DIVIDED though. Still wear both items occasionally.
As for C&A I don't go for the dadcore or preppy stuff much. eg. The Angelo Litrico jacket I bought last winter looks modern and maybe a bit edgy. But not unpleasant at all. It's simply great and very effay.
I'm a 26 year old man and I want to wear those checkered vans that only scenekids and pseudo-alternative highschool girls could pull off.
I won't give in though. It would never suit me.
I bought timberlands and took them for a 2hour walk. After one hour the backside of my heel was greatly hurting. Halfway home I had to take rest. I smelt blood but thought it as from my nose. I found out that it wasn't from my nose after I came back home. I wish no one this experience.
so the damn shoe ripped the skin off your heel?
that happened to me as well with some shoes. it's the worst.
pro-tip: if you like the shoe, just buy it, keep the receipt and walk around in your room for a while wearing the shoes. That way the soles won't wear off and you can still bring them back to the store if there is something wrong with them. Just don't bleed into them.
You definitely have to live in the right area for this, though. I live under D.C., so everyone's black and poor, or rich and Korean and the younger generations don't give things to thrift stores
there is noooothing worth thrifting near me; it's awful
I just dropped $70 on a pair of these bad boys and i don't even feel bad about it
>I fucking hate H&M like nothing else and only like some of the brands there like "DIVIDED" for example
divided is just h&m's cheapest line. it's not a different brand or anything rofl
I constantly get unsure if I even like what I wear, I clearly do else I wouldn't wear it but I just get thoughts about it at night like once a fortnight. Think im finally finding my style which is cool.
I go here to learn, but I don't really /fa/ in real life. I just wear sweatpants, t-shirts, backpacks, whatever even when I'm at a mall.
I also chose /v/idya over /fa/ so most of my money goes into games. It's hard learning so much about /fa/, but not having the money to buy /fa/ clothes. I don't regret it though.
my sister is very /fa/ so she picks out all my clothes for me
i also get her to approve my outfit before i leave for work since i don't know how to match colors
>mfw people compliment my fits irl
i feel like i'm lying since they're not my own
gotta hand it to my sister though, she's really good at male fashion as well
Thats just in terms of fashion though if we are talking facial aesthetic its
I actually really like their music too. Its my secret little obsession
I have a lot of extremely expensive jackets that dont fit me because they have yards of extra fabric and it's depressing.
i trolled pigfuck last night using a dump script and the poor dude sat there typing in captchas every minute for literally 2 hours
kind of feel bad how dumb he is, but it's just so funny shitting on him and watching him squirm
do any other anons know this feel??
i wear cdg play
i do it impress azn qts
it's worked so far
Post an example of an outfit you've put together.
You'll hear something like "talk shit post fit" often
If you're going to criticize people/outfits/styles/etc., people are going to want to see the perspective that comment is coming from
Ah. Well my taste is shit as well, just thought a board about fashion would have better. Maybe inspiration.
Thank you for the explanation however.
This board is more oriented towards male fashion in the first place, simply because most major outlets focus almost exclusively on women's trends
You'll find more inspo and contemporary mainstream fashion on Pintrest and the like
>I like dressing Dadcore and tucking in my button down shirts
>I refuse to pay more than $100 for /fa/ boots and bought some Clark's sumner heaths
>I wear a lot of plaid and flannel shirts
>Hate hipsters, but dress like them
I gotta agree on the first point
I got a skinny pair from back in 2010 and they're one of my favorite jeans after i got em tailored.
Light weight, comfy, stretchy and skinny.
Compared to my 15.7 oz jap raws that constrict my dick and tight af (downsized too much). Takes ages to break in damn.
Alao got a few topman/zara/h&m clothes, most of which i regret buying besides basic tees. My zara suit fits like ass
>80 to 120 dollars on shoes a year
>because they have the income for it
can you explain this to me? do you just buy one pair of shoes a year and only wear those until next year?
this would be suffering where i live with weather conditions/seasons. not to mention 120 USD is a pretty low cap for something you expect to wear a lot. that's not really even enough for a good pair of hiking boots...
I got a more than decent body, but I am very unsure about what to do with the hair on my lower back. Should I even do anything?
I got a very light hair colour, so it's not even that noticeable, I guess. I don't think anyone has ever commented on it, but it kinda bugs me anyway.
I've been wearing the same outfit for a month. It's a generic look: T-shirt cardigan hoodie, jeans, running shoes, and jacket.
Keep in mind I usually wear scrubs to work. So I don't really wear this every day, prob once or twice a week.
I buy most of my clothes from Primark, with a few big-ticket items from H&M, and hand-tailor them so they fit properly.
I just don't have the money for decent brands - I'd rather look half-decent and be able to eat than go completely effay and starve.
I know nothing about fashion, and I'm too poor to buy actual clothes so I go to goodwill.
I like the art teacher/profession aesthetic but I don't know where to begin, and it doesn't really matter because I'm too poor to have a social life.
All my shoes are $20 airwalk I got at payless
I keep telling myself I'll try to focus more on looking good but I have trouble finding anything that fits (skinny manlet)
the 'most fashionable' things in my wardrobe are from h&m
I don't think I'm going to make it
i wear own and wear 4 pairs of Osiris shoes because i always find them for extremely cheap (>$50) and they've always gotten complements from people
(pic related, my fav pair)
I'm a broke student and therefore I can't afford any designer clothes
and the shit I post in WAYWT threads are always pleb brands including Jack & Jones, Zara and H&M. Yet I still get compliments on my fits. No one ever called me out on my low budget clothing.
FIT IS KING
I actually dress pretty similar to your pic. I just thinks it looks like shit, but I'm too old to fall for the "just wear what you like" trolling. If you do that, you'll end up like those people who still dress like it was 2006 (Tapout shirt, racing jacket, bootcut jeans, Chucks etc.).
>Fashionable clothing. I hate it, but what can you do?
what the fuck am i reading
so then which of those derided styles do you wear? and if those are all so lame then what is good fashion to you? you should be dressing for yourself and not other people. a lot of people on this board are dressing for other people which is beta as fuck
i think i accidentally deleted my post..anyways
i perm my hair (not a nigger).
If i have nothing to do and i look amazing, Ill drive to the mall or something and walk around just so i dont waste my attractive body in my room.
>tfw social skills aren't high enough to talk to cute grills at the mall
Also i spent 40 dollars on 3 Ralph Polo boxer briefs because boxer briefs are master-race
uniqlo selvedge was only cool when it wasn't easily accessible
i had 2 pairs :(
now that fagfucks can buy from the online store or buy it at many uniqlo's spreading world wide it's shit tier
H&M shit looks better on most people than shit by designers, yohji admitted it, i agree with it
babying used designer pieces on many of the younger dudes looks like you're cosplaying rather than just living life in your clothes
dressing up as something does not make you that thing
women seem to believe that
> at a salon
Holy Jesus no, my anxiety would peak. I buy the kit from Sallys and even when I go there, I wear a hat and some shades. I get the Super Strength and the brand is Olive something (green box). Have to apply it every 6 weeks
> pic related
one day anon, one day i will make it as a designer, or maybe i will get hired as a manager at some shitty international call center corporation like Atento
life as a mexican is such a struggle
I buy the top half of my outfits at Ross and Forever 21 half the time and they look okay, but I try actually spending money on pants and I'm still never quite sure if I know what I'm doing
Also my wardrobe makes like two actual outfits with variations and I can't afford to buy anything else
>devaluated as fuck currency
>literally no good shops around, the best right now is H&M and some Liverpool imports
>very hard to get to the higher class if you're born in a lower class
But you're right I must be optimistic
Why do you feel the need to buy from "good shops" if you're part of the lower class? Worry about it when you can actually afford it.
The American dream is bullshit; you don't become rich just by moving to the US.
And how poor is "lower class" exactly?
I mostly just come on here to find clothes I think are pretty nifty looking and buy those online. I'm not big on the more obsessive aspects of /fa/ like freezing your jeans and not shampooing for days, but there are some pretty cool shirts and pants that I'd wear. I mostly end up in polos and jeans anyway because I'm kind of fat and all my super nice clothes make me feel really self-conscious, but it still feels good to have all these nice clothes available to me for when I get over my anxiety.
>throw in anime shirt
>just bought an anime shirt
don't do that, that's some spooky shit
and yeah, I've been exercising a lot, so I know eventually I'll be just like the rest of the gaunt cigarette smoking pasty motherfuckers on this board soon enough
I enjoy browsing /fa/ and looking at all of the sikk fits and inspo but most of my clothing is basically mall tier and I have no idea what I'm doing.
Also I'm a manlet with thick legs so I could never pull off that skinny jeans look and look /fa/ :(
If clothes makes you feel anxious, dont buy them, dont wear them. Buy and wear clothes that make you feel fucking confident, and good-looking (in comparison to other clothes, not in general, if you're that ugly/not confident),
im 6 foot 2 175 and pretty fit from distance running and lifting i.e visible abs, v lines, good chest and shoulders
but this fucking board has made me decide that i need to lose weight so ive been eating like 800-1000 calories a day for the past 2 weeks trying to get down to like 160 and its making me unhappy
I'm overweight and haven't been able to change for shit. updated my wardrobe thanks to /fa/ and a few other places, but it doesn't change the fact that I look like shit in anything. if I don't lose weight sooner or later I'm going to look awful forever and probably kill myself.
Sometimes I catch my reflection in the mirror on the way out of the house and remind myself how many pieces of clothing from H&M I am wearing.
One day I will ascend from this mediocrity.
