How to climb into bed? Sleeping overrated?
I like the illuminated sign and the bike. Wouldn't make my own room so impractical because if it tought.
The rug and the deer, shudder, very outplayed. And it looks like he's too lazy to hang up the framed pic,

I like the blanket. Other than that it's a pretty basic ikea room. Nothing to fawn over, really...

can we make this a room inspo general?
Please tell me he rides that bike out of his room, as in he lives in some sort of room where there is leave to a road through a large door.
If not, gay as hell, completely off the charts fucking gay.

Are you really this autist?
>>9114687
No it's literally Deus Ex you goof. The autist is the nerd trying to be clever.

I still love HR's technological renaissance art direction. Really a clever and visually appealing way to convey the Faustian conflict and the rapid scientific advancement of the time period.

You also see a lot of contrast with the extremely high tech and the low tech. That especially conveys the acceleration at which advancements take place. For example, sticky notes on a likely interactive screen and books and files scattered everywhere. It's a subtle cue that these places are on the cusp of something, but not everything has quite caught up.
The back alleys of course being a not-so-subtle cue. But rooms like that stand in contrast to most of the SERIF building which follows the usual futuristic conventions of clean cut and sterile.

How can I make a room seem bigger and arier? I'm looking at moving to London and I want to live centrally and by myself. Problem is I don't want to spend more than £800 or share so I'm looking at a fucking box. Does anybody have any ideas? So far I've thought of wooden floors, a lower bed, a clothes rail rather than a wardrobe, a long mirror.

No clutter, white walls and ceiling, light colors, lots of natural light. Even a small room will look much bigger.
Pic somewhat related
>>9115381
avoid lining your walls with stuff, it'll reduce floor space and make it seem claustrophobic.
>>9115438
I know they're big rooms.

i think i just became fully erect
>>9115453
wow i've always wanted a view of a concrete pit
>>9115459
Yeah that sucks but the room is nice if you only have a chair, a mattress, three books and some lightbulbs.

Thank you. Honestly the flat I looked at was prison cell sized with a private bathroom in the next room. I was thinking of bright white walls, wooden floors with a futon bed and laptop rather than desktop and a wall mounted TV. Then just one shelf and one picture. It has a beautiful balcony overlooking Earl's Court so there's an advantage
>>9115486
Sounds nice. White walls and wooden floors always works.
>>9115381
Similarly coloured floor, wall and ceiling. Or at least a complimentary colour.

the balcony will help a lot no matter what you do. having a glass wall, a place to step outside, and a view will be wonderful. go for it bruh
