By having a Ralph Lauren wallet am I going to look like a nig? It's not incredible gaudy, but in the Midwest Ralph Lauren is for coloreds.

Logo is like this but the wallet is brown.

Uniqo's cable knits are pretty good autumn socks.
Not so much cold weather though. My feet are pretty chilly even after wearing fleece lined shoes.

My usual choice of sock is smartwool. That's some good shit.

OK so I've never owned boots before and I was wondering, for winter are you supposed to buy boots with some kind of insulation, or just wear winter socks inside of normal leather ones? I'm talking 0-20F here not like antartica

Boots without insulation should be fine, as long as you have thick socks. However, boots with insulation (Thinsulate is one example) are obviously warmer and a better choice if you're worried about cold feet. Make sure the soles have traction on snow/ice, since you don't want to be slipping around.
