I want to stimulate "layering" in my hair, if that makes any sense. Any advice? Especially the section between the top and back needs some more 'waviness'.

This was my hair about one week ago. The longer it grows, the harder it gets to manage/style without using any product (obviously). I almost have the desired length. Right now my hair looks slightmore fussy. I've heard people talk about shea butter before, but I'm not sure if that works for my hair. I usually see it applied to relaxed hair.

Speaking of relaxing, I might cop a mild texturizer this week. Anyone here with texturizing experience? Kinda wanna go for the hair structure you see in vid-related at around 1:10, but wayy less greasy.

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Go to a good hairdresser and get them to cut it such that it can grow out. It'll look like shit for a while anyway but at least it look tolerable until its long. It took me two year to get to shoulder length because of this
