W2C medium parka with waterproof qualities? Doesn't need to be perfect just for those days when it is rainy and a little cold.

Is the Uniqlo reversible one waterproof? It is nylon, but I've read that water soaks through.

Note: My budget is much greater, but less is more in this case since I have a lot of other outerwear.

Generally size down 1. I'm medium but my greenland jacket is size S.

Tried on Barents parka last year and had to get XS. Definitely use the actual measurements.

Tbh I'm not sure. I'm 183cm and that common jacket is a small. The model is 187cm and wears a medium.

The common jacket almost touches my knees, while the Stay is easily an inch or two above for the model.

My best advice is to try different jackets out.
