I wouldn't take these seriously for actual running, are you meant to? they look too flimsy
>>
>>
more importantly, what is the most comfiest sneaker?

like the holy grail of comfycore (easily available, not some 80s rare shit)
>>
>>8994912
new balance 1500

Out of all my Nikes, it'd be between ACG Trainerendors and Huarache 93's. The Huaraches have a neoprene inner and air max soles, making them wrap around your foot and absorb everything very well. The Trainerendors are much lighter though and the sole is nice, far more comfortable than anything with a Free sole.

Those are my pics for cheap, readily available comfortable sneakers. You could train in them as well, so they aren't limited to only casual fits/uses like some fashion sneakers are.

In the gym, I use adidas kanadia tr 5 in a black/blue colorway
I can't find I picture online, but they look a lot nicer in real life

Don't be a pussy. Pick a running shoe for performance.
>>
>>8994832
Nike frees are actually really good running shoes.
>>
>>8995068
I disagree, my nike free 5s have the least traction and wear out my muscles more. You actually have to forefoot strike in them for them to be useful which isn't my style. Comfy shoes for walking around uni though.
>>
>tfw no shanghai 306

but for performance go for the flyknit 3.0s. love running in those.
>>
>>8994933
honestly man

Those look like you got them from the clearance aisle at big 5

sorry
>>
>>8995426
are those actually meant for running?
>>
>>8995426
those look sweet, w2c?
>>
>>8995478
they can be used for it but I wouldn't recommend them for serious running. still unbelievably comfy though
>>
>>8995320
you're supposed to midfoot strike whatever shoes you're wearing, dude... basic stuff
>>
>>8995502
With my nike free's I have to make more of a conscious effort to maintain form compared to my flyknits etc. With less support etc it feels like it punishes you if you deviate just a little bit outside that style, and the ride is definitely harder.

Been starting to run barefoot since I don't own running shoes. Still a little sore, but I get a little less sore every time I do so (I think)

Are Nike Free's good? I kinda wanna get into the minimal running thing.
>>
>>8995771
If you're into the minimal running thing they're meant to be a good entry point. I personally don't like it because I'm not about minimal running
>>
if you're seriously considering choosing your running shoe (for actual running) based on aesthetics you're literally retarded
>>
>>8994931
Aren't huarache 93's the heaven's gate shoes?
>>
>>8995771

id check out NB minimus instead
>>
>>8995771
Please don't run barefoot. If you step on something sharp, you won't have anything to clearn the wound, you might get a nasty infection and feet infections are a bitch to heal - med student here.

flyknit lunar - the super light and breatheable flyknit and the lunar sole amkes this the comfiest nike shoe.

asics gl-iii - i think almost the whole sole is this thick sponge like material.
>>
>>8994693
i've been on a similar hunt and it seems like the best choice for performance and aesthetics are

flyknit lunar 1 or 2
energy boost esm (theres only one model in black that MIGHT pass in casual wear. kinda iffy but apparently theyre great running shoes)

ive been trying to find any reviews of the pure boost but it doesnt seem like the running community takes the shoe seriously for running. seems odd to me, the energy boost just has a few extra features on the sole compared to the energy boost. i also looked at the adizero adios boost pure. looked OK, not sure if theyre still stocked anywhere though
>>
>>8995490
I saw them on sale on crooked tongues.
>>
>>8996022
I've been running indoors on a treadmill no worries anon.

I can only run like this for 10 minutes before my feet get tired so it's a work in progress.

It is a lot better than running in converse. I think it was destroying my back.

>>8996027
>tfw no glorious Indian genetics

>>8996013
I'll check them out. I was looking at the Nike's because the drop isn't as severe, so I would believe they'd be a little more forgiving to those whose form isn't that good.

>>8996173
Honestly I've worn flat shoes since middle school. I grew up running around in these things, so it never really felt any different to me. It still really doesn't, but yeah I feel like if I strengthen up my feet then I can stop ripping up my back and stop feet pain.

Unfortunately, I don't own any running shoes so I figured since I never wore padded shoes, a transition to barefoot running would probably be better than buying a heavily padded shoe.
>>
>>8995068
If you're a cardio bunny, yes. not if you run outside ever. also those are flyknits not frees
>>
>>8996226
the ones in the op are technically flyknit free. flyknit just refers to the upper.

the most popular flyknit is on the lunar sole. others soles/models that can come with a flyknit upper are lunarglide, air pegasus, air max, probably others but thats just off the top of my head

I'm not sure about others but my adidas element refines are comfy as fuck. The top part is a flyknit rip off so it's extremely breathable and flexible. The sole is amazing for walking around. Makes the 1 hour commute to uni easy. By comparison the new balance 574s are just torture.
>>
>>8994931
Huarache 93's? You mean Air Max 93's?
>>
>>8995771

are you retarded?

i have the free 5.0, the latest model. i just happened to have bought them the day they came out and have been running with them ever since

they tired my feet out more at first. i'm not a serious runner (3-5 miles per run/10-15 miles per week) but they've held up well so far. i wear them with fits sometimes also, they breathe better than the rest of my shoes since they're mesh

might try the flyknit 4.0s after they wear out
>>
>>8996887
Considering the current market for barefoot trainers, I'd say he's not the only one.

midfoot or heel strike? If the latter, you need to train to land on your midfoot.
>>
>>8995771
Just get some water shoes. Then get some regular sneakers once you realize that barefoot running is more about form than what you put on your feet.
>>
>>8996143
I run in the energy boosts, can confirm they're very nice.
>>
>>8996143
The adios boost models are the ones that all the fastest marathon runners in the NY marathon use iirc. The energy boost is ok but kind of a hype shoe really, my flyknits are better than my energy boosts because of pronation
