So does vaz rajan use guidi leather or is it a collab? Thinking about copping these but I don't know man.
In need of some new sneakers for casual wear. Decided to go with something more interesting than other shoes that I usually wear and can't really decide between these two.
I'm looking for a black chino pants with the fabric of a khaki chino pants. Does that make sense? Most chinos in black I've found have a weird fabric (right) but I'm looking for something more like (left)
It seems like a few clarifications would help you out a lot.
"Chino" refers to a cotton twill fabric. All "chinos" should be the same fabric. The ones that you've posted on the right look like the might be a brushed plainweave or something that's also gone through some washing. So, though they might be labeled as "chinos" they're actually not. The confusion also comes from the fact that many younger teenagers assume that any cotton pant that's not a jean is a "chino" when that usually isn't the case.
Any company that makes a standard chino pant, whether it's cheap basics like Uniqlo, mid-price contemporary styles like Wings + Horns, or high-end tailored companies like Incotex, will do the same chino twill fabric in several colors.
When asking for it, just make sure you ask for a twill chino in black and you'll get exactly what you want.
>oversized sweater tucked in
>inoffensive pants and shoes
Is this any good, or are there any fits with this? I want to try it out.
Idk if the belt is necessary and correct me if I'm wrong but if you need a belt your pants don't fit, right? I think it's more of a visual thing.
I'd say the belt would be helpful, just because I find belt loops a little distracting when they show and there's nothing in them to define a waist. Frankly, I think you could do without the tuck, but that depends on the sweater and the pant.
The baggy-ness sounds a bit much, reminds me of pepper Ann.
If you're set on it, go without the belt.
How does one wash/clean white soles/edges on shoes like pic related to keep them bright white? I've tried toothbrush/bleach but it hasn't restored former glory
I feel like every pair of pants that I wear doesnt fit right when I put on shoes. Like they feel too baggy after the knees. My thighs are pretty big and skinny jeans are too tight for me majority of the time. Usually buy a 33x34. Should I just get like a shorter size? Would that change anything at all?
Your pants either need to be shorter so that they don't stack as much, or you should get them tapered. I recommend the latter more because I personally prefer tapered silhouettes.
In case you're unaware, when taking them to get tapered, make sure you're clear that you want them tapered from the knee down. Get a ruler and measure the leg opening of the pants getting altered, and then measure the leg opening of a pant that you think has the leg opening you'd prefer, and then tell the tailor that.
I'll try a shorter length for the stacks. How much would your average taper costs to get done and should I even do it on some 511s or uniqlo selvedge or just wait until i get some better jeans?
I've tried pinrolling before. I can never get it to stay for more than a little while. Like had to reroll it multiple times during the day.
Or...just buy a tapered jean.
As far as tapering a straight leg pant, why not ask the actual tailor who will do the tapering?
This is obviously a solution, but it's not very economical. What sort of response are you expecting with this?
"Yes, thank you /fa/scist, I will eagerly throw out all of these pants I have and replace them all with uniqlo jeans instead of just getting them altered"
can I get an id on this wack sweater thing?
the tag says Gibson, but I can't find anything about the brand online
found it at ross for $12, I'm just curious about the brand and I don't even know how to wear it
want to cop another pair of doc martens. what pair should i pick? should i even get another pair?
the picture on the left is what I think looks better as the front, but the way it's stitched makes it fit like it's the back
just having the mesh thing in the back is wack, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be
long shirts for layering
where do I buy, and if I should just be buying regular shirts, how do I achieve the fabled quadruple layer. 3 is my cap right now.
T-shirt, Shirt/flannel, Fleece/Sweater/Jacket
I know I can fit a sweater or something inbetween Shirt/flannel and Fleece/Sweater/Jacket but right now I think a longer shirt between T-Shirt and Flannel would work best. Preferably a long t-shirt with one of those cool super huge head holes.
I'm looking for coat suggestions to go with this outfit (type, material, colors, etc). Currently using a black pea coat over it, but I'd like to have a sportier alternative. Also that's not a stain on the shirt, just spilled some water
Pea coat is pretty much the one on pic related, down to the straps on the sleeves (except I don't pop the collar, looks stupid imo)
Sorry I'm reposting this, posted it a couple days ago but the thread had already 404'd when I checked it.
I'm an ottermode guy (190cm/81kg) who uses mainly slim fit M as size. However, my neck is large - 42 or even 43. Are there some brands who do shirts for larger necked people? ATM I have no shirts that I can button all the way up.
going to travel through asia, will i have to cop a bucket hat or are there alternatives?
Recently bought Rick's white t-shirt and realized white doesn't really work with my wardrobe.
So I thought maybe I could dye it to some darker color like grey/black? Could this work? (I know it can work but the material is really thin and fragile so idk if it'll fall apart in the process lel)
need a quick fit check on these... whatever the fuck the color is supposed to be jeans
I just read the new mens non-no and saw some really cool stuff I want 2 cop, but most of it is impossible to get in the EU...
Does anyone know w2c striped sweaters like pic related, they don't have a round neck thing, byt kinda square/straight/
Here the black and white striped sweater, the pic says it is from GAP but I can't find it.
what tees and tanks should i get for layering? im a bit iffy on uniqlo
How do rafdidas fit? I keep getting different responses from different people. Should I go with my CP size or what?
No alternatives, you'll have to get a bucket. In some countries like Laos, it's actually against the law to not have a bucket hat on your person. (Authorities were lax on this, and for a while they allowed you to just have a 5 panel, but they've definitely been tightening up in recent months)
Does anyone know a place where you can get a fur lined parka similar to this one? I know there are about a million but I really like the tone of the fur here. Want it to be the real deal ofc.
Looking to cop trainerendors, I have nike free 5.0 for gym/running shoes in 11.5 and I have like a finger's width of room in them if I smash my toes all the way forward.
Should I cop in 11 or 11.5? Would like them to fit kinda snug, but I don't know how they run big/small.
Also, is it worth it to deal with ebay hassle to get the based acg tongue, or just cop an sb reissue pair
Thinking about buying acne adrians. How's the sizing? I'm usually 11 US in most shoes (Converse, adidas, etc.) but the ones I'm thinking of copping are size 43.
What do you use to suppress your appetite?
I'm thinking about having caffeinated drinks on the regular or taking adderall, but I also don't want to be dehydrated all the time and look shitty and wrinkly in the long term.
Is it a fair trade off?
>have you guys ever bought off grailed before?

How long do the side hairs need to be for the haircut in this thread: >>8872593 ?
By side hairs I mean the circled in pic.
Where to get low cut crewnecks like pic related? Looking for something a bit cheaper than Acne or Wang
Anybody know w2c olive green cargo pants for hungry skeletons? Something like pic related, except no ribbed cuff at the bottom. Plz help I've been searching for months, budgets 200 max.
wtc jacket similar to this? maybe other colors?
It just depends on your hair, everyone's is different. Some people's hair lays down when they get a buzzcut, other people's sticks up when it's five inches long. Since you've already taken the chance and gotten it cut, you'll just have to wait for your hair to grow out.
You can force the hair to lay down with stuff like blowdrying, and strong hair product.
Would it be possible to take a pair of boots and cut them into oxfords like these?
I'm looking to cop a pair of iron rangers (or something similar) but I don't know whether to get them in black or amber brown.
I'm planning to mostly wear black or dark navy jeans with these.
Which ones would work better/be more versatile?
For hair product, would you rather go with American Crew Pomade or TiGi Matte Separation Wax for keeping hair down where you want it down for a really long time? Are the two even comparable?
Anybody have experience with Japanese sites like Rakuten/Y! that can help a brother out?
I was checking out these two Yohji pants, both size 2 and was a little confused by the sizing. I'm a little confused by the measurements on them however; they don't seem like they are exactly the same pants, but they are both a 2. However, one's waist says 102cm and the other says 78, which seem radically different for the same numerical size pants. Here are the links:
I also came across a pair on Y! the other day that are gone now, but they listed the waist as 40, inseam 72, and waist again 33 (size 3 this time). Granted, this may be because of a Google translate issue, but was wondering what you guys think.
If you need something that'll keep your hair down no matter what, go for Murray's pomade. Nothing is even comparable to it, it's in another league in terms of strength. It's essentially just heavy wax, it takes scrubbing with dish soap to get it all off your hands, and about a week's worth of shampooing every day to get it all out of your hair, depending on how much you use. It'll pretty much turn your hair into moldable clay, and especially so if you blowdry it in the direction you want it to lay.
So if you don't have any time (you're in school or working, or just don't want to have funny looking hair for a bit) go with Murray's. I dunno about other countries but in the US it's like $4 for a 3oz can (same amount as any $16 AC product) in any drug store or maybe supermarket.
But if you do have time and some money to experiment with your hair a bit, I suggest doing that. You might find that you don't need the superstrength of Murray's, or that you just like a different product more. These are the products I've tried and know about, in order from strongest to weakest:
Groom & Clean - Classic style hair gel, basically grease without the grease. It's great and easy to style with, has a lot of shine, but doesn't have perfect hold. It'll deteriorate throughout the day, and after a few hours you'll be running a comb through it pretty often, or at least I was. Washes out really easily. Smells bad in my and most people's opinion. The smell sure grew on me, but it won't as quickly on other people.
AC Grooming Cream - basically Murray's jr. Strong product, washes out in one good scrubbing. Don't have a lot of experience with it cause like I said it just felt like Murray's jr, and it didn't hold my hair as well so I just went back to Murray's. My hair is super uncooperative so most people would have better luck I'm sure.
gonna continue this in a second post cause it's getting too long
AC Fiber - Pretty strong product. When using it, rub plenty of it all over your hands (this goes for all products, but has to be done excessively for fiber cause it's like frozen butter when it comes out.) and rub it in your hair damp. Has no shine, and is just really consistent through the day. The hold isn't super strong, so if you're driving with the windows down or hit a gust of wind it'll mess your hair up, but whether it's been 1 hour or 10 since you put the product in, you'll be able to reshape it the way you want it easily.
When I used Fiber I used it pretty much exclusively with AC Pomade, cause I didn't like the lack of shine, and I loved the smell and texture of AC Pomade. So again under experimenting, feel free to try out combinations of products.
AC Pomade - It's kind of weak for a pomade, but compared to most products it's fairly strong if you use enough. Has a good amount of shine, and sculptable hold. It's hard to explain but it kind of keeps your hair moist all the time, so think wet clay compared to the dry clay of Murray's or Fiber. Smells incredible in my opinion, I like to rub some of it in on top of whatever I'm using just to add a bit of scent.
Another thing you can do is put some Murray's in, take a shower, and you'll have half of that Murray's still in your hair, ready to use as a base, giving whatever product you put in after more hold and stay, while allowing for the top product's characteristics to show.
seems long, but wondering if this can be pulled off if I leave it open
W2C good lightwash denim? I bought a pair of Levis but I forgot that Levis quality is absolute shit. Max price is probably around $125.
Everything this dude posts is absolutely disgusting
w2c set of bape wingstas for not retail rape of $400. and what about other streetwear formal shoes
I need a coat for the winter. I thought of maybe a peacoat. However, I'd also like the coat to fit my suit, which has a dark blue (nearly black) color. What color should I cop the coat in and what kind of coat? Would black still go with the suit? Or should the coat rather be in a dark grey? Thanks in advance
nah peacoats are overplayed and pretty ugly imo. Overcoats are where it's at, they're beautiful and never go out of style.
As for matching the suit (you only have one suit?) Black would go with dark navy fine, as well as most grays. It's just personal preference, though it's a lot harder to find an overcoat in gray.
Either way, do not purchase online. Go somewhere you can try it on, and find one that works with the shoulders of your suit jacket
is amethyst jewelry acceptable?
a gem on a necklace to be exact, like this but with a rope chain and in purple
are max cash's tts? I wear size 32 N&F skinnyguys (which are 33' in the waist) should I go w/ 32' or 33' w/ the acne's?
How to store my clothing the best way? Folded up? Hanging? scrunched into a ball on my floor?
atm I hang everything except pants and underwear. Because I'm lazy and hate folding shit. Are my clothes going to stretch by doing this? Lose their shape? Help me effay
I'm about to cop these, what jeans or similar would go with it, what can you suggest? I'd use only 5 of the 7 lacing holes maybe
Anyone got any tips on how to get this stuff off the shirt?
Heres how the whole tee looks. I tried scratching it off but that didnt work too well.
Does somebody own April77 outerwear? Particularly curious about the pleather stuff.
What's the sizing on Kent Wang sneakers?
I have size 42 Europe (8 1/2 US).
They only sell whole sizes. Do I get 8 or 9?
>inb4 get cps
How do ASOS and h&m shirts fit in comparison to Uniqlo? Bigger, smaller? I'm just curious.
does anyone know what to wear with this
or can u recommend anything, preferably casual wear
How does fabrixquare compare to other shirts of the same price range? Im contemplating getting some of their tanks and tees or just making my own since most of my money is going towards my grail
I know I'm going to get shit on this and I know it's completely un-/fa/ but it's the only jeans I like and think I look good in.
Where can I cop (in Europe) some super-skinny literally girl-tier skinny jeans for men? It's important the ankle area isn't wide like most "super skinny" jeans they sell in shops round here.
I used to buy Topman's super sprays, but they no longer make them. Kind of like pic related.
