So in all honesty /fa/, what are worthwhile cops from uniqlo? Is all of it H&M quality? Help a bruh out
I'm aware it's a shitty website I was wondering if there were any hidden gems. Jesus christ second post was already a shitpost, keep the projection on the dl or people are going to get the small dick vibe man
I was asking about the QUALITY. Reading comprehension may be too much to ask for on this autistic board but I was hoping at least two people would understand before the memesquad showed up.
Posting this thread is alreadya meme within itself. Can you not figure things out for yourself?
Just delete this thread.
I've heard the shirts fit well. Thingken bout this:
Speaking of Uniqlo, I bought a white Oxford from them in medium.
Can anyone tell me if this shit fits right? Honest and humble question
> skinny fat
It doesn't fit you at all. It looks like it's too large on one shoulder and too small on another. Pay attention next time and if other shirts look loke this on you take care of your back. You look young and you can probably fix it. Anyway, try to keep your back straight.
Besides, it billows A LOT on your back, you can't tuck such a shirt in properly.
Sleeve length is probably allright.
The cloth does not look as Oxford to me.
Yeah all my shirts tend to billow in the back like this and I thought it was normal. I've bought from gap in the past and had the shirts tailored. Still, they look funny.
Should I try getting this tailored or shop elsewhere?
See for yourself. I seem to have bad luck with them shirts and currently wait for a couple of made to measure, hope they'll turn out to be fine.
Try on some slim fit/tailored fit and see how they fit. Just check they still fit when yiu sit down.
Since it's not a super well fitting one anyway, try to get it tailored just to see if it works.
I don't know who they make these shirts for. If they fit in the shoulders, they're too wide aaround the waist, and I'm not as athletic as this guy. Or the collar is too wide. And then there' s collar and sleeves. What does 'M' even mean in this context?
I've tried on a lot of shirts in different stores, and I think it just takes too much time (and not all of them have mirrors to see what's going on on the back), so I'm going with MTM.
I'd try slim and tapered fits and stay away from regular and God forbid relaxed.
Fun fact about clothes in malls: same size of same model of different color may fit differently, so try on each piece of clothes you buy and try to always get exatly the one that fits you. I don't know if it's poor QA or something else, but that's what we have. Remembered it because I've first noticed it with Uniqlo polos.
what's with the recent trend of people comparing uniqlo to zara or h&m? It's great clothes and great quality. Pretty much everything except some of their jackets and knitwear are worth a cop.
Also, pay attention to shoulders, they're probably asymmetrical, and probably lifting weights makes it more pronounced (like, left hand should be stronger for most people), and you might need to have them altered anyway.
noticed this too
uniqlo is great for cheap basics
recent days have seen a few posters ragging on it for absolutely no reason
where else can you get cheap well fitting basics with fair quality?
I have a blazer coming from Uniqlo. If it fits alright, I might keep it and get it tailored. (I mean for 100 bucks, I can't go wrong with trying ti anyways)
Also have a flannel and some socks coming. I'm sure the socks will be fine, but the flannel I'll judge later. I find their oxfords to be boxy as shit.
I'm really interested in these Japan Blue jeans though, since 80 bucks is pretty appealing.
UNIQLO RESTOCK YOUR FUCKING SHORT SLEEVE TEES
I JUST DISCOVERED THEY FIT PERFECTLY BUT YOU ARE ALL OUT OF THEM IN SMALL SIZES.
I don't have a Uniqlo in Colorado yet either ;_;
Side note - should I cop some of their long sleeved tees?
>Flannels are boxy
Damn, I hope they are significantly less than their oxfords then, because I really like the wine color.
Can you tailor flannels? I'd consider just doing that since I can't find very many places with nice colors.
Their t-shirts fit me well. They are a little shorter than I wish but not "They don't fit" short. (I just like my shirt to go past my pockets but it sits right at them)
I wish they had better online service. I know they are expanding but I don't foresee my state getting one for another year.
That wasn't me, m8.
Some autist on here -- not sure when exactly -- asked if ordering 150 white tees was overkill.
I know, m8, i'm waiting for them to restock. Their tees fit well on me too. I go to Uni in the south, but my family lives in Hawaii (they finally just got an H&M there), so I doubt I will ever see one in my state.
Oh wait shit you mean some nigga actually ordered 150 tees? Damn.
I'm trying Everlane right now. I got the package, tried one on briefly and fits alright but seems boxy in the torso.
I just can't win. I think they are gonna open one in Aspen because I found positions hiring for a position, but that is like 4 hours away and nobody there so I have my doubts.
Just got a flannel from them. It fits well and feels really nice.
I wasn't that impressed with Uniqlo's fit (sizing and feel) when I went to the store in NY, but I'm having a change of heart now.
(I actually just ordered another flannel now that they're on sale)
Once you start copping a lot of shit from them you can't stop, I keep on copping their stuff but I'm nearing the end, I think.
>Go to the pop-up store in Sydney
>Fucking deluge of middle aged women copping bubblejackets
I have a supima t in small. Fits very well.
Here is a pic of my express shirt in small
It's so annoying seeing this same exact thread every single day. I'm an employee of Uniqlo so I'll spill as many beans as I can. Also, someone screencap this so it can be replied every single time this dumbass thread appears.
For it's price, the quality is top notch. Compared to H&M, you're paying nearly the same price for something that will actually last a few years if cared for properly. Outerwear is where Uniqlo really shines. I still have jackets from 2008 that are still in top condition.
Uniqlo makes their shit in the off-season in mass quantities and ships them out when they're ready to release. When something releases online, it's best to buy right away or you're probably going to be assed out later. As for in store, we get shipments 6 days out of the week. If its a newer item, it will get restocked depending on available warehouse stock. If you're looking for Supima Cotton T-Shirts in January, you're fucking retarded. The clothes that are represented are for the current weather season. Once the weather is appropriate for the item, it comes back.
Holy shit we are coming. Uniqlo has a weird but kinda smart way of expanding their US stores. They take a general market (the Northeast for example), build a ton of stores, and advertise in that small area so it hits a ton of stores. The same for the west coast. Once Uniqlo feels as if they've dominated that market, they'll move to another part of the U.S. As for right now, it's confirmed that Uniqlo is coming to Chicago, so expect about 4,000,000 stores to open up in that area.
As for Canadian shipping and stores in your respective country, calm down and wait. Uniqlo is a slow burning forest fire spreading across the world. Give it time and it will come.
tl;dr Uniqlo is good for what you're paying. Stop making this thread.
>uniqlo in chicago
that's kind of good to know. I swear to fucking god though if they open shop in Milwaukee before Madison I'm calling those gooks up myself to explain to them what a crass move that was.
Probably will be available worldwide.
Madison is a fucking shithole, dude. Why would anything fashionable move to that swamp of slutty underdressed walleyed Midwestern sorority girls, JAP's, mouthbreathing farmboys, and delusional hippies? I lived there for a full year and have never hated anyplace so much. Oh but wait, you guys have an H&M, right? And an Urban Outfitters? Lol. Fuck Madison.
I love Uniqlo, but these threads seem to be a new, cancerous meme.
Everything barring their ultralight down is good.
Ultralight down started shedding down everywhere, so I can't wear black underneath or it looks like shit if I take it off. Really disappointed in that one purchase. All other purchases I was happy with.
just copped all this shit
d-did i do good?
Anybody able to comment on their slim straight fit? I'm kinda interested in copping a pair of their jeans in this new line since I would assume the quality is better, but I dunno anything about their fits.
>my package was supposed to come today but dumbasses in my dorm's mail center didn't sign for my shit
from Kozue Tamura of pure blue
>Find all these clothes I want to cop
>Go to check out
>Doesn't ship to Canada
Does anyone know if these are the same as the leggings jeans from last year? The leggings jeans were incredibly comfy pants, despite the faggy name, and I have no stores around me to confirm.
I love our Heavy gauge sweaters that should be coming in more. Our Mr. Sparkle shirts, those Si&Am sweaters if you can still find one. We have a lot of stuff thats hilariously racist towards Asians and made all the more funny by whos selling it.
The reversible Parkas ain't half bad either.
There's a difference between quality and durability. Uniqlo stuff is durable I can give it that, but that alone doesn't promise quality.
Bought a pair of checked cropped trousers from there. Thick material but there wasn't even an attempt at pattern matching between the front and back. They're thick and they'll last but there's more to quality than that.
I don't find the details to be there with a lot of their stuff. Durable basics for a good price, yes. But not "good quality". It's acceptable quality or good for the price, but to blanket call it good is incorrect.
why the fuck can't uniqlo carry skinny chinos / general pants
everything is slim fit and slim fit is baggy as fuck
have to tailor everything i get and unfortunately my tailor lady is some immigrant chinese woman who is bad at getting things really tapered
I'd go for white but does anyone know if/how often they restock these? I plan on doing an order on the 22nd for the Helmut Lang crewneck sweater and I don't want to have to pay for shipping twice, although I'm worried that they're gonna run out of these because they're low in stock right now
Apparently Uniqlo is resizing things for the American Market. The Japanese cuts they used were too small for Americans
