New fuccboi general, old one past 300.
So I treated my relatively new leather jacket for the first time and it seems that I used the wrong product.
While it is more flexible now its slightly sticky and makes very annoying sounds while wearing.
Anyone a good Idea how I can get rid of that without destroying the finish / damaging the jacket?
I got APC new standards back when they were what was recommended and now everybody's on that petite standard life. What the fuck do I do? I don't think any of the tailors around here can be trusted to taper my raw jawnz and even then I worry the thigh will end up too baggy compared to the taper.
Have to wear some sort of business wear for an event later this month. The person said something like a blazer and slacks, but I was thinking of copping a less formal type of suit, what kind would be a suitable replacement for that, and where can I get one for cheap?
i recently found this uniqlo x undercover thing i copped but never put on
can you guy shelp me ? what fits with this
Skinny jeans are already going out of style. NS are fine. If you want them tapered a bit more, get them tapered a bit more. Personally that's how I like my jeans, slim but somewhat relaxed/slouchy around the hips/thighs with an aggressive taper from the knee down.
It really is all up to personal preference though, as a previous anon stated.
Well there's your mistake. You must try before you buy and see whether that style of trousers fits you. That way if you buy a garment that fits well, you won't have to worry whether or not it ran out of style as it will always fit you and look good on you. Unless it's in a retarded colour.
I'm really feeling off-white CDG x Converse. I've been having trouble finding a good white/off-white shoe and those seem to be my best option.
What's the deal with high tops vs lows? I don't know what makes for a bad fit in either case.
So my hair has gotten longer than I normally like it and I'm looking for a new haircut. I'd like something that looks clean but messy at the same time (yes I know how that sounds) and that won't take a lot of work to keep up. I would love something like pic related, sorry for the bad pic but it's all I got. Help me out /fa/
My fault, read it wrong. Thought it said manburn for some reason and obviously that yielded no Google results.
Anyone own these? If so can you post pic and tell me what you think? I'm a 6'3 skeleton and I've tried uniqlo, aa regular tees, aa tall tees. they all fit like shit and I'm dying for some basic tees
Thoughts on this sweater first of all?
Anyway there's these white suede sneakers I have with black laces that I don't use nearly enough. So I want some kind of a top with both black and white.
Any ideas for pants in this outfit? Gray chinos? Gray jeans? Black cotton trousers? Not black skinnies, I'm too old for that shit.
I'm 6'2" and 190lbs. My favorite tees are BR pima stretch. This is a large. My chest is 44 and waist is 32. The material is thick and stretchy. I like everything about them.
thanks! unfortunately that wouldn't work for me though. I'm 150 lbs with a 37 inch chest and 29 inch waist. basically I'm fucked unless I get rich and can drop 10k on a basic wardrobe from damir and rick.
Yeah, there are two types of tall guys. Those who got stretched upward from the top of the selection in paint and those who were stretched from the corner while holding shift. It must be hard to find slim things long enough. Don't tall sizes start in large?
yeah i do wear slim black jeans sometimes. i just think black jeans and everything else monochrome.. i just FEEL too old for that look. anybody reasonably thin can obviously rock it and look half-decent.
Yeah it's hard if you just want decent/cheap basics that fit. Most tall sizes start in medium but even the medium ones are kinda baggy on me. Pic related is the best fitting shirt I've found from silent dd, thinking of just copping all my basics from them even if it will cost me
don't do anything to them. I had the same problem, but recently I just embraced the less slim look and realized that they still look really fucking good. Skinny is going out of style anyway.
Could boots work well if you're short? I'm currently 5'6" and 170 lb (I was 180 last year, dropped to 130 and gained it all back because no willpower) but this time I plan on losing that 50 pounds and keeping it that way. For the time being, I was wondering if I could even hope to pull off some nice boots with my thick af ass thighs and calves.
Can I make it happen /fa/? I'm a guy btw.
what's the deal with shoe size conversions. i have a bunch of shoes, nikes and new balances included, that say EU 44 is a US 10, but then i have a few other shoes that say 44 is a US 11 as well as a few people here on /fa/ saying that that is the case. v confused here i thought they were standard
that's 8.5-11.5 US, how can your shoe size differ that much?
my confusion stems from my previous belief that a US 10 is always going to be equivalent to a EU 44. Just like a US 8 would always be a 41. obviously all the shoes marked with one size will differ slightly due to some being not true to size etc but i assumed all the US-EU conversions would be standard
w2c a long sleeved stripe shirt like this
That's a big ass black grease stain or something on the back of the lower leg isn't it?
Personally, more colors with flannel. The two tone tends to look like its from pac-sun.
More work-wear inspired helps. That includes boots or chukkas to go with and not skate shoes.
Maybe try chinos to get away from the 12 year old feel.
Will I be good for the English winter?
>bomber (fairly thin but not too much)
I have long-sleeves too, but other than that I just have skinny jeans and some terrible shoes, I plan on copping Stan Smiths.
Want to cop some nice casual button-up shirts. Could someone point me in the right direction or recommend me a certain piece?
Want a white one or the standard light blue oxford color.
Im probably going to get 2 pair of shoes and only have those 2 pairs, so I was thinking new balance classics (not sure on color) and vans sk8 hi in white. whats your thoughts?
if you're new don't get cps, they're $200 quality white plain leather sneakers. White Sk8 his are solid, I'm not personally a fan of NB in any model except the Ct300, if you want a white sneaker alternative, Stan Smiths are the staple
t shirt is strictly the cut of the shirt. It's v-neck or crewneck with no buttons or anything. Tees can be short or long sleeve.
That said, you can button top button or not, but if you don't, unbutton the 2nd button too or it just looks forced business casual.
You can cuff the sleeves (looks better, though I'd never do a short sleeve button up anyway) by just finding the hem seam and flipping the edge back. Make sure you do it all the way around, then do it again.
Black leather white soled shoe that doesnt kill my bank account
hnngh would cop
cop for the price?
When I was in Berlin I asked some German girl this question and she wrote down these for me. Idk tho as she was a bit pleb
The girls werent as nice as when i was in amsterdam and not as attractive (dutch literally best ever). Again maybe just me tho--
How the hell do shirt sizes work? I have a few shirts from my high school days of shopping at Target, they're medium and fit well but are almost too big. Now, H&M small fits perfectly. Jackthreads medium fits well but almost too small. What's the true medium or small?
its kinda hard to tell since your whited out everything but your legs giving us no depth really
from what i can tell they look pretty solid jeans, if the waist isnt too small to where it hurts to wear them for long periods of time i would say keep them
is the mason jacket supposed to flare out in the back like this? I like the look of it but every time i see backs that flare out like this i think of poor posture and cheap clothes
just wanted to point out that reviewbrah is looking fresh as fuck in this video. This is a genuinely good fit.
no, I've got a long sleeve henley and a short sleeve v neck henley, both small, both fit perfect. I've also got a few of their $15 button ups in medium, I think they could've been small.
Jesus Japanese shirt sizes are a cluster fuck, luckily I found measurements on Kapital and it seems like Size 2 is basically a medium. Also found this which is size 40 but I figured out they meant 40 chest measurement.
are they worth the money?
i have no experience with reigning champ, is the quality good or am i just paying more mula so that my clothes are not made by indians?
Should I cop, and if I do, what do I wear them with? Plain boot Inspo would be appreciated
I own a pair and they're pretty nice, especially for the price. Only real complaint is that if you plan on being on your feet for more than 4ish hours, you might want to get some gel inserts. Sizing is a little questionable; I sized down a half/full size. Obviously not really that good for rainy/snowy weather, but otherwise they're great. I usually wear black trousers with a grey jumper over a white oxford for a clean casual look. Really depends on what look you're going for though. Are you going for a preppy/dadcore look or a goof look?
the quality is really good for the money and everything is made in canada, all though it should be noted that reigning champ is a more athletic brand so if your auschwitzmode the sweaters will look a little baggy
one thing to mention is that neck on the sweaters is a little tight so its be a lot harder to wear say a button up underneath
Can't speak specifically for Tres-bien since I've never ordered from them, but when ordering from overseas you'll get hit for import duties. Also depends on your state laws, for my state online orders don't get hit with taxes. I have heard in the past though that people that've ordered from Tres-bien have NOT been hit with duties due to the way they package it, though once again, not sure if that's still true or not.
thank you very much for your help anon, i appreciate it
I agree, but this is actually my first pair of leather shoes that I will be giving a shit about it so I wanna care for them so I can wear them for years
obviously I wipe off garbage, but how do I protect the leather, especially in averse weather
also could you show me an example of good looking dirty white shoes?
>wearing coaches jacket
>pleb friend says "you realize that's not a jacket"
depends, if you gettin airforce ones the proper care really isnt necessary unless your a teenage sneaker head.
if you're gettin CP's they look better aged then new but only along the sole.
but for cleaning simply take a damp clean wash clothe to them and buff out any scuffs or dirt, the you'll want to use some leather conditioner so they don't dry out and get yourself some shoe trees so they dont cave in on themselves
nonono, gray is super businessy, it can be pulled off but not by a starter
for a starter, go with navy for sure, with either a brown or black belt+shoe combo
$150 is crazy low for a suit. The only option I know in that price range would be H&M or maybe Zara. I have a navy blue linen suit from H&M and though I rarely wear the pants, the jacket is great for casual wear and fits well.
You need tips for buying a suit that fits or tailoring or anything?
w2c replica Visvim boots?
specifically models like the Grizzly and the Virgil.
I've been looking all day and this is the only link I could find...
Seems replica Visvim is harder to come by nowadays or what.
>You need tips for buying a suit that fits or tailoring or anything
Kinda yeah. Want to look good because half the reason I'm going to the event (and half the reason I'm in the club) is to get a qt gril. Other half is an excuse to wear a suit, since I never have one.
And yeah, I guess navy would work better. I already have a black belt and shoes, so I don't have to worry about that.
alright well two button is ideal, that's probably all H&M will have anyway
When looking at a jacket, go by the width of your shoulders. That's what needs to fit, everything else can be adjusted. If you have no idea what size your shoulders are, go to a fancy place like Lord & Taylor and spend a few hours with a store assistant trying on jackets. You can walk out without buying anything, and still know what size your shoulders are and how a jacket should fit.
Even if you do though, it's not always perfect. Sometimes a 38 fits perfectly, sometimes 36, occasionally 40.
If you do H&M, unless you're really tall the sleeves will probably be long, as will the legs of the pants. (pants don't need as much thought as jackets, just make sure they fit well around the waist I guess but everything can be tailored.)
Once you've bought the suit, unless it fits perfectly, find a dry cleaner near you that does alterations. Go in, and wear the shoes that you're going to be wearing so they know exactly how long to hem the pants. You can ask them to taper the pants too, just make sure that any adjustment you want done is measured on you.
Are you gonna do a tie?
I think I have an oval or heart shaped face, any suggestions for glasses? Thinking about the Oliver People's Fairmont.
Anyone have any experience with STAMPD's sizing on their garments?
Curious if they run small, large, or true to size. Particularly jackets or tops.
what can I wear with chinos this color? I want to wear a tie but I don't know how to pair with a color like this
testing to see did my ban get lifted.
is pic a good idea, any pleb streetwearers in here?
Either really, none of my shirts just strike me as going with them, I guess. I originally bought them along with a denim shirt, but now I don't really like that combo. I haven't gotten to try it cause it's still warm here though
Man, those shoes are just awful with the rest of the outfit. Neither the pink or the grey are complementing/matching/in-any-way-working with the clothes you've chosen. I'd go with black shoes; although a slim brown dress shoe would accent the shirt nicely.
Cop or not? New to this fashion scene.
Some people like polos.
A lot of people think they're disgusting.
If you're ripped enough that the sleeves will be tight around your muscles, I guess you could go for it, you'd look alright.
Fashionably, they don't go with anything. They look preppy with jeans and sneakers, they look retarded with dress pants and a suit jacket.
Just my two cents, if you love it, go for it. Don't let strangers on the internet have the last say on what you buy
Thanks for the input. I do like shirts that will go with jackets/jumpers/coats etc. Would you be able to recommend me a site with some nice collared button downs? I like sort of patterned shirts if that helps.
Honestly I'm trying to find some high quality oxford shirts right now so I can't help a lot with that
Sounds like you'd like Jackthreads though, I haven't bought any button ups from them so I can't vouch for quality on that end, but it's a great website
H&M also has some low quality collared shirts; low quality in that the fabric is thin and kind of papery, while oxford cloth is a little thicker and has texture to it. Their sizing is weird so you might want to go in-store and try them on, or just size down
Also, it's just a small distinction in case you don't know but button-up and button-down are different. Button-up just means that there are buttons all the way up, like any dress shirt. Button-down specifically means that there's small buttons to button down the collar, but is otherwise the exact same as a button-up. Button-downs are typically more casual and worn without ties, but it doesn't really matter.
Cop or not? Or something similar?
blacked out them as much as I could.
did I fuck up?
>go to uni
>rich kids everywhere
>2 kids wearing dreamboxes, guy dressed from head to toe in YSL and Givenchy
>see them pile into a fleet of SLS's Audi R8's and GTR's
why bother getting dressed in the morning
yeah I saw them making eye contact it was pretty intense. Like my animes.
But for real one guy look super pissed when he saw the guy in the far less expensive outfit wearing the same shoes.
lel, they were on chinese kids
But yeah I'm super tired. I was gonna call them "dreambaskets" but I googled them and shoes didn't come up so I figured the /fa/ meme shoe was just called dream box.
forgot to add: they are also super high waist. Even if you manage to get the proper russian sizing code you'd have to be 7 feet tall to wear them casually. Otherwise they'll reach up to your nipples.
No. They are lined inside (not removable) and made from really heavy canvas. They will not fold well when not worn straight up to the waist. You'll have really weird mushroom shaped ankles.
ehh, I'm still dyel mode right now, so I think I'll stick with just leaving the collar button undone. Also why I don't want to spend a ton, since I might have to just get a whole new suit in a few months when I get around to working out.
But I'll def check out H&M later this week or next week. Thing's on the 27th so I don't have a shit load of time. Gonna see where I can get my sizing figured out too.
Anyone know where I can buy NB CRT300's in bongland or with delivery to bongland?
Would prefer this to using MyAddressUS
jeans fit check please, uploaded as gallery on minus for practical reasons
ordered for ( first time ) some ACNE ones, got myself two pairs :
Acne Ace Cash / 29W - 34L
Acne Thin Stay Cash ( STAY cash means they don't fade ) / 30W - 34L
now for my personal thoughts before you give yours :
ACNE ACE CASH ( 29W - 34L )
they are, in my eyes, too tight, will probably exchange them for a 30W, since the length ( 34 ) seems absolutely fine
can't pass more than one finger ( even one is kinda hard actually ) between my waist and the jeans, and it's close to impossible to zip them up completely, i have to close the button first to do so, and well basically they feel tight as shit, to the point of wearing a belt with them would mean death
ACNE THIN STAY CASH ( 30W - 34L )
usually i go for 29W, but since these ( new ) ones from ACNE are supposed to be, according to their words ( Super slim fit, Skinny leg, Narrow from knee ) i took one W size above ( 30 ) to avoid manleggin effect too much
so of course they're a bit more large at the waist, there's a bit of room ( can pass a finger easily ) but they hold without a belt without issues
as expected they make my legs skinny and are narrow under the knee, but i think they highlight my legs in a good way, and i feel good when walking with them, my movements aren't ( don't forget it's a skinny cut )
the length game seems one point, and i think i will settle with 34L with all my next purchases ( i'm 6'2 )
Can I cop these or are they too autismcore?
what the fuck is this Global Shipping Program on ebay now? been ages since i ordered something from the US. it's not calculating the import charges right away.
can't you just do it the old-fashioned way with the seller marking the value way down so i don't get fucked in the ass? anyone tried suggesting something like that to sellers? is ebay reading my private messages?
he was specifically talking about light gray, which is traditionally a pretty casual suit color. that's a great choice for your first suit imo and versatile with different shoes as well.
yeah you shouldn't buy a suit for 150. if you just need it for a single event then rent something.
