+1

Variously, SISP, PRPS, Maharashi, Undercover (if you're into that), Rick (mainly the non-dropcrotched ones which can be a little hard to find), Levis Commuter
>>
>>8683623
There should be a semicolon after that 'variously', didn't mean to imply that it was a brand.

Polite sage.
>>
>>8683623
more affordable options?

i wear this kind of pant, but for traveling.
>>

yeah
>>
>>8683769
zanerobe, publish i think, idk dude check hypebeasts store.

you should get into the trend of investing in your clothing pieces dude, you're gonna be an adult. its a lot more responsible and sustainable.
>>
>>8683769
If you want a similar aesthetic with the workmanship at a lower price point, it's not gonna happen. sorry bruh

What you can do is find some made for wear and tear work pants or fire brigade fatigues or whatever for next to nothing and get those tailored though. I'm sure you'll find something to your liking.
>>
>>8683791
Essentially this, ty based aiouh

Just get some nice cargos that you like and have them tapered to how you want them, we're all gonna make it bruh
>>
>>8683791
My plan atm is to try and find some pieces off eBay. Would you say that Levi's commuters are the lowest of the scale then? I like Undercover's aesthetic, but they are tricky to find in my size (29W, JPN 1-2). I feel comfortable spending around 150 on a pair, new or second-hand.

>>8683782
Yeah, I was just exploring all options. I'm not afraid to spend on good pieces, I just copped a Real McCoy's sweat, but that, along with textbooks, has taken a fair chunk out of my spending money.
>>

>Levis Commuter
Do they fit the same as 511s?
>>
>>8683545
i've been thinking about getting some milsurp bdus and having a tailor taper them. i want them to look sort of like baggy, pinrolled pants that are loose in the top block but taper below the knee with a small leg opening.
>>
>>8684328
Thats not a bad idea. I like the build of military gear, but idk about the fits. for a slim guy I would be swimming in the pants. Tailoring them is a good shout, but I don't want camo

im pretty skinny (6'1", 125 lbs, 29 in waist) but i'm thinking an aggressively tapered bottom with a looser top will look cool. you can get bdu pants in a variety of colors, i'm going to try it initially with black and if i like it i'll try olive and maybe black/grey camo. i think it would mesh well with the direction i'm trying to take my personal style (military influenced tech/streetwear).

>>8688986
W2c similar pants, for a more affordable price? Also one that ships to NA
preferably $70>
>>
>>8697058
No. I don't think it's possible, and your idea of 'affordable' is unrealistic. If you like them, save up or get them in sale or something (Maharashi have at least biannual sales for end of season) They're great, and relatively speaking, not that expensive compared to the high end stuff like Julius
>>
>>8697077
Know if they (Maharashi) ships world wide? Or at least North America?
>>
>>8697224
Yeah, and the shipping isn't too ridiculous if I remember correctly (to Colorado). I got mine on sale a month or two ago for like $150 with shipping, as opposed to the usual $220-ish plus shipping. It looks the Maharishi website is sold out of the 2032's right now (those are the jasmine scented, nanosphere coated ones), but I'd definitely try to cop a park if I could find them, best pants I own. Also, according to their fit guide I measured for a small but they were sold out so I tried the xsmall and its a perfect fit. Not sure if the pants run large or if I just like my clothes to fit differently than most people.

I'm a poorfag, too, but can we talk about more interesting stuff?

These titanium-coated wool pants are from Devoa.

>Big Pocket Cargo Pants constructed from a titanium coated wool. The titanium coating is applied after production of the item. The pants feature a jodphur silhouette with a extended rise and voluminous thighs that flow to a slim fit from knee-down. They feature a four pocket design with an asymmetric fly. They feature tucks at the knees to create a three dimensional pattern. This combination of fabric and pattern create a more casual piece, rarely seen in Devoa collections.

I don't know terribly much about them, but the rap goes that Daisuke Nishida, the designer, is a former professional athlete (haven't seen it specified what kind) and "medical instructor" or "medical trainer" whose only professional training was from his tailor granddad.

The clothes are always designed around and for the movements of the human body - shocking concept, that, clothes actually designed to wear - and they're often rooted in traditional Japanese textiles, notably washi, a traditional paper-based fabric. The patternmaker is always credited on the label and the textile artisan often is.

And that's about all I know. Anyone have some good resources on them?

Wow, those are pretty fucking phenomenal. The detailing on those are great - and, for some reason, the back/side of the pockets specifically reminds me of the reinforcement stitching/ruler pockets on workers' fluoros.
As someone who's been wearing pretty much exclusively Julius for a year and a half now, I think I should really start paying more attention to Devoa.
