For the pants, I was thinking about getting a pair of indigo jeans, beige (light or dark I still don't know) and black pants. Would that be fine to start with ?

Actually the natural color of teeth is yellowish so to get them white you would have to go to the dentist or get those whitening strips. They are shiny because of the enamel but with age and use of strips it corrodes (and believe me you don't want that to happen)
