Well there's one or two people maximum who still dress 'lunarcore', but other than that no.

I went for it early on and realized I was buying pieces that worked in one way only, ie the palladiums would only go with this white bomber etc.
It felt like a uniform, which is what lunarcore is, by definition it's cosplaying.

Even poet doesn't bother with it afaik.

There's a guy who posts in the waywt threads semi-regulary who dresses like some kind of dark lunarcore

The colors ain't a problem but the texture and design needed on the clothes to pull it off..

yea, it needs a decent investment into footwear, pants, outers and tops to be able to get a few decent future/lunar fits. that or good tailoring skills like knoch has

lunarcore was never a trend to be emulated by the masses, it was poet's quest into finding out what worked for him and his aesthetic. the first lunarcore posting was poet asking if anyone else enjoyed retro futurism and /fa/ helped lunarcore evolve from that. it was never meant to catch on in a mass way, it was never meant to be popular, it was just one persons adventure into finding out what he enjoyed and liked to wear. it would be nice if everyone explored ideas they had about fashion rather then jumping on a bandwagon of "muh monochrome"

a few posters wear/wore it. I personally enjoy incorporating "lunar" color schemes into what I'm wearing.
This guy was probably one of the most tenacious with the style, I like most of his fits and sneakers

It was never meant to be mainstream. It's an alternative look that when done right can be very subtle and casual. When done wrong it can look like cosplay. Spacejew is one of the few who can pull off a casual fit that has clear lunar references to those who are looking for them, but to the rest it will just look like a "normal" outfit.
