I have a jacket that's similar to pic related. It's all blue and the logo is that shade of yellow. After getting into /fa/, I don't think I can wear this jacket out this coming winter. The problem is this:
I live in Canada and it gets fucking cold. I would like to be /fa/ during the winter, but I enjoy having skin that's not blue and falling off. On days when it goes below -30 Celsius, you have to keep warm. I was thinking about getting an Arcteryx techwear jacket, but that whole techwear look clashes with literally everything in my wardrobe. Also, what are some good shoes for when it snows 2 feet and it's -32 the next day?
Norse Projects make a great neoshell and down parka.
The Arcteryx Stingray jacket in the Blackbird colour way was the jacket I was thinking about copping. I'm just having difficulty finding it in my size. It's fairly thin, so I'd need to layer a lot.
Any other suggestions?

Don't be a bitch and just layer. Get some heavyweight lined wool outerwear, or lighter wind-resistant down/padded stuff and make sure you wear your warmer sweaters and shirts. I live in Canada too, and outside of when I was up north or out east, I've never worn a down parka or bomber. I have one for walking the dog, since I'm lazy as fuck.

I really like those. Especially this one.

Do you have a picture of what coat you'd wear as your outer most layer?

It is awesome. I have a slightly older version of that jacket. When I wear it skiing in temperatures around freezing, I basically only need to wear a thin base layer or I get too hot. Combined with a base layer and a thin fleece or some wool, I doubt that there is a temperature this jacket could not withstand.
Also wore it in massive downpours before and did not even get a single drop of water through.
Anyone got suggestions for someone on a budget

Check Maharishi store. They are on sale right now. You can easily cop goose down liner and a coat, given that there are sizes available.
