I grew my hair out and then you could really any hair gel or putty. Gotta use the right amount so it stays up, but not so much that it becomes too greasy. Just find one that smells good I guess. Also sea salt spray usually works

how do you guys know if a hair cutter is good at certain styles?

i used to go to the same girl for a long time. every 4 weeks i'd get it cut and i'd text her to make apointments and stuff, she was young and hip and that went on for like 2 years but then i moved and i cant find anyone around here that even knows how to fade properly.

It all depends of how quickly your hair greases though, how often you shower etc. If you have very straight/thin hair I wouldn't recommend it, unless you style it backwards.

This is my hair completely dry with no product. It looks clean and decent, but I want to do something more interesting. This was me for a long time, but I always had to wear my hair up because the wind would turn it into some triangular mess. I couldn't step outside without it turning into a frizzy disaster. Part of it was probably because I was balding though. My hair is thinning up front so it took very specific conditions to get it to do the right thing. Needless to say, wind wasn't a part of those specific conditions.
