whats this kind of pattern called and where can i find it?
how do you dress? if you wear a bit more heritage-y/earthy/americana stuff i think the vintage sole can be nice. also good for more sportswear looks imo
all-white is cleaner and sliiightly more versatile

and make sure you remove your name while shitposting
thoughts on this shoe? any other better nikes for both running and to be /fa/?
Left field has something similar
Help! I finally found some dress shoes are comfy on the toes, super soft leather and have enough room.
Problem is that they cut into my ankle bone slightly, wide toes narrow heels. Not pain, just a bit annoying.
Will this go away at all? Shoes I just put a heel pad in there?
I have a couple pairs of Allen Edmonds and they've all stretched out nicely after being somewhat painful for the first good 5-6 wears.
Just need to break them in. Now my strands are super comfortable.
Beige harrington, grey tee, lightwash denim or khaki/grey chinos/wool slacks, and camel boots or shoes
Or schott perfecto or similar knockoff, grey tee, black jeans, black boots #50sbikercore
Hey anons, all black with black shoes or all black with white shoes?
Asking for the second time, fuccbois. W2C these jeans?
I bought the Acne Ace Pleather on the most recent sale they had because they looked motherfucking sexy. Are those the same cut as these? I am pretty thin but I am not that tall. How tall would you say the nigga in the pic is?
What is the general consensus on having a leather duffle weekend bag?
Are they worth it and are they easy to travel with?
Pic related. One I've been looking at.
Are these Raf Simons real? As far as I know, they're called the crocodile pockets.
These aren't Ricks are they?
source is Work Work by Clipping
Apparantly they stopped selling the all black converse where I live.
What's a good alternative to them? The normal black/white ones look like shit.(only interested in hi-top converse btw)
Could you kindly explain me how do laceless shoes/boots work?
Got these on the pic, I like the leather and overall quality and they are super comfortable, and I like the look, too, but I'm not sure if they actually look okay. Some guys ask me where are the laces, lol.
Also, should I roll up the jeans?
There's an elastic band under the tongue. I sure can buy laces, but they're not meant to be there.
Sort of like with these, I guess: http://www.upscalehype.com/2010/09/kevin-jonas-in-duckie-brown-laceless-wing-shoes/
anyone kno w2c tracksuit bottoms like this but with cuffed leg openings
I wanted to try a letter jacket similar to pic related. School's colors are gold and black and I thought I'd try them with some black Levi jeans and some kind of adidas sneakers. Not sure about what kind of undershirt would go well with it all too. I thought it might be better if it was white instead of gold but that seems a little more bland.
Thoughts would be really helpful, pretty new to /fa/.
This is pretty much as good as brown brogues get, right? Should I?
what is this colorway called? where can I cop it?
Anyone know pants that have a similar cut to the hm twill pants? I really like them, but their quality is pretty shit.
w2c good navy color parka?
I don't need it to survive a blizzard, my budget is up to 200€.
Please help me out, I know nothing about jackets. Last winter I bought one from
zara
the fabric you're thinking about is probably a low thread count linen.
I can't think of a brand to recommend, though. I know Muji and Everlane sell long- and short-sleeved linen shirts. Lots of high-end brands, too.
thats exactly what i was thinking of but r u fuckin kidding me
i was in muji yesterday and picked up the exact shirt and thought this looks nice and completely forgot about it
thanks for id-ing the fabric tho thank you
Do these look better with the boot laces or the white laces?
sup /fa/, newfag here
I want to combine my kind of skater style with something new like lunarcore. What do you think of these fits?
I need very, very skinny jeans on a budget.
These are H&M black skinny jeans and I think they look cheap.
These are my legs.
Mom won't pay for a $200 pair of jeans.
i like this one more if you already have a plain white shirt, if not go for ann d
ive run in roshes and free 5.0s and the frees are sooo much better for running but not nearly as good looking the roshes were alright to run in though but the frees were fantastic
that should go away in a while, but a heel pad will fix it indefinitely
id recommend you just wait it out
1460 lows white shirt black cropped pants calling it
pf flyers have a lightly different silhouette that some like and others dont
cottonon has some stuff that you might like, but its not very high quality
school pride yo go for it
i probs wouldnt wear for any other reason though
thom browne? anyway, i prefer something more basic, but thats up to taste
those are really nice though
dior, ironheart, samurai, ysl, slp, u know what im saying
fjallraven stuff is ridiculously good quality and reasonably /fa/

i'm looking for a big, colourful sneaker to balance out my collection
right now i can't choose between the
>adidas zx 8000's
>new balance 1300/1500's
>nike air huarache
anyone got a rave review of any?
i'd rather not play it safe with air max's
This is why monochrome is bad, not because Bradley Cooper is claiming it as his 50 yr old man aesthetic
Goth ninja died in 2013 bro
Palewave is just a dumb meme name for imo a cool colorway aesthetic. Lots of khaki/beige/light blue/muted desaturated neutrals and earthtones. Not pastel as some people think. I have a feeling it'll stick around but maybe get darker but still with the same pallette (darker hues), like in Engineered Garments fw14/15, except maybe w/o the techwear aspects
Beige is the new black
Or the hybrid heritage/tech aesthetic with mostly grey & olive (as opposed to black & white with current techwear) that some brands & designers are pushing for f/w14 thru f/w15
>tfw most if not all of uniqlo's smart trousers are out of stock
Seriously why the fuck.
Where else to cop? Everywhere else is going to be shit in the same price range.
why does this board constantly have to classify and name every different aesthetic? You can wear what you want without pigeonholing it into some 'style' (lunarcore, palewave, dadcore, etc, etc, etc) and be happy with your clothes. So you wear jap streetwear and brit sportswear together? That's fine. Neutral colors and loose fits? It might look cool but it doesn't need to be named and dissected and regurgitated. Wear what suits you as long as it's coherent. Don't dress to a 'style,' dress to what you think looks good.
I'm 28, and I wear shit from "Heritage" and outdoorsy techwear brands all the time when I'm not working and still get mad bitches, have a very fulfilling job, lots of hobbies, and a strong circle of friends. I don't play video games or watch anime, I don't follow runway fashion, I don't get social anxiety, and the only black peices I own are winter knit caps, a raw denim jacket, a bomber, a couple left field nyc tees, and some combat boots. Am I still effay despite all of this?
Guys, I'm in love with these pants.
Is there enough differentiation between pant colors 2 and 3 to justify having the additional pair? My intent was to replace denim with color 3, but it's not as dark or blue as I expected. Probably close enough though.
Also it seems like everyone is constantly asking "is this effay" "is that effay" like there's a single coherent definition of what is 'fashionable' and what isn't; fashion is so subjective and so diverse that this is just blatantly untrue. Things are contextual and how an item looks (good, bad) is going to be partially dependent on what you're going for. Someone said awhile ago that something looks 'good' when the outfit eludes to something bigger than the wearer, elicits emotion elated to a time or feel; slim black jeans might be '/fa/' if they're with something more modern but if put into an outfit inspired by the early 90s they're going to look out of place. 'effay'ness is not set in stone. /fa/ is not one person and there is not a single aesthetic that is 'correct.' Wear what you want, so long as it goes together. That's the motto.
Do you have the money? Do you give a shit? IMO the colors aren't distinct enough to "justify" another pair, but if you love the pants, fucking buy another pair. Worst case scenario is that you have more in your rotation so they all last longer.
Agreed. And adding on to it: Why are so few people here thinking for themselves? For a group of people purporting to be above the masses/plebs, all "nxtlvl," there's a scary amount of permission being requested to buy even the most basic pieces.
Take a fucking risk. If you don't look back on something you wore last year with regret, you've either stagnated by taking no risks, or you've peaked (unlikely).
This is a dece outlook I agree with, but /fa/, like mfa, sufu, ct, and sz all have their own subculture, so the question is somewhat valid if something is effay. Hence why everyone here shits all over any workwear/bizcas/not monochrome streetwear look or garment posted, palewave meme aside
Yeah, I already bought them - was hoping they would be more blue or darker.
Have the money, don't really care about the money, agree on the last longer point.
Do they look remotely like denim, though?
I don't think you have to regret things you wore in the past, necessarily. Someone can look back and see how they've evolved and still appreciate what they wore before. Personally I've moved from more heritage brands to a lot of supreme, wtaps, stone island, bape.. Just ordered some Our Legacy and I think I'll be happy with it. I still wear a lot of my old red wing and levis stuff and it's not hard to use old pieces from when you had a different look in mind in newer stuff. Basics with a cool twist or interesting textiles/materials is always solid.
I'm a whore for them, engineered garments (which I noticed a couple people just mentioned) and left field. But mostly left field. I feel like I don't fit in here much, but I'll be damned if it isn't fun watching everyone call eachother "autistic faggot virgin"s, and I can occasionally find threads I'll relate to.
All of the sites mentioned have a decent userbase crossover and if you go on any of the waywts there's a lot of appreciation for different looks, which you don't really see as much here (as far as I can tell, but I don't spend a lot of time on /fa/). Something can be appreciated for what it is even if the person judging it wouldn't necessarily wear it themselves.
It seems you've followed a similar path of anyone who's been on /fa/ or similar boards for a few years. Heritage into urban/streetwear. While it contradicts part of this discussion, and isn't meant as an argument, it's interesting to see that shift be so prevalent. It was like that dumb "evolution of the hypebeast" article from last year
Oh wow, I've never heard of them. Their mainline stuff looks dece, but if I'm looking at this right, rebuilt is kind of a patchwork theme. Different, but I don't think I could pull it off
It cuts off at last year obviously, but still holds weight as being pretty accurate across most of the forums, although surprisingly lacking in mention of #menswear
White Jack Purcell vs. Sk8 Hi for a winter sneaker?
/fa/, I have a job interview tomorrow.
It's only at mcdonalds but I need money and work is work.
I have a pair of black trousers but they're bretty baggy on my skinny legs, while these jeans fit better.
Do the jeans look to trashy to wear to the interview?
1:pre-ripped jeans are shit, no way around it. The color is nice tho, if it had the same color w no rips i wound rec 1
3: contrast is too high between thigh and rest of pant, the blue is too saturated
2: less contrast, not as blue
both 2 and 3 have bad fade patterns tho
on such light wash jeans it should run p much all the way down the leg otherwise it looks awkward
I've literally been here for the whole thing. We started off like you but then went meta, and then we went into our own meta so hard that we bred a new generation of /fa/ggots who started swimming in our obnoxious pool of sarcastic, post-ironic meta that we're trapped in a mirroring dimension through we can interact but our cries for help only come out as pseudo-ironic condescending narcissistic self-hating broken english invocations of raf simons and rick owens
only you can save us
I work at a medium sized dior store, it's alright, it's like any other retail job really except for the fact that I get discounts sometimes. Sometimes when Odd sizes are left to long in the store (like 5 months we can take them home for almost nothing so thats nice i guess)
how do I lace basketball high tops?
am I even supposed to do lace the upper section when wearing them casually?
Skinnyfat here. Trying to achieve hungry skelly mode. I've been eating between 800-1200 cals a day for a bit under a month and it's pretty rough. How do you guys cope with the constant hunger?
Most people who are skelly mode aren't actually hungry all day. It's just how they're built. My brother eats whatever he wants, which means unhealthy shit mainly, and he's an absolute skeleton.
If I get measured for a suit will they be able to give me the exact measurements I need for casual wear?
e.g. I'm thinking about buying chinos from Uniqlo and getting them hemmed, so it seems like a good opportunity to give my exact leg length rather than settling for a convenient multiple of 2.
no because pants have different rises, so leg length isnt consistent, not to mention that knee stacks will make your pants shorter with wear
always best to take things on a case-by-case basis, though prior knowledge will definitely make things easier
should I buy it? Mostly for work and uni
I haven't got the slip yet- I think it'll have to be white- and a weird shape
if u eat smaller volumes of food ur stomach will shrink and u will get used to it in like a week
if ur willing to suffer a bit more for a week and suffer less in total focus on eating smaller volumes rather than less calories
or fast for a day
