>what are you reading?
Biocentrism by Robert Lanza, MD. The book discusses fascinating themes and ideals, specifically emphasizing how the 21st century is the century of biology, claiming that it is this particular study of natural science that should be focused on. It brings about a new way of thinking in the reader, opening one up to important values in nature aside from the obvious human life

Nice thread.

>what are you reading?

Flannery O'Connor stories while deciding on what novel to read next, and slowly making my way through Das Passagen-Werk - which is basically Walter Benjamin's Evernote account from 1927 until his suicide fleeing the Nazis in 1940, brilliant little association-forming fragments that were supposed to eventually be transmuted to a scholarly, career-crowning book reconstructing the true, materialist history of the 19th century from the goings-on in the shopping arcades of Paris.

Which makes me think - there's a section in it on fashion I'll scan and post here in the next few days.

And yes, that's Sarah Bernhardt on the cover.

>what is your favourite sandwich?

Grilled swiss and cheddar cheese and tomatos on an everything multigrain bagel, topped with cold cream cheese and avocado. Sometimes with an egg.

Weird, I know.

Any of the big cities/holiday destinations in the US. I like how it's so similar yet so different to the UK plus I want to see if my accent will really get me laid.
Also Tokyo. Not an otaku, it just seems like a cool place to go. Climbing Fuji is on the bucket list too.
