What's with fashion related websites being really un-intuitive. Is making your website hard to use a way to increase exclusivity or something?

Good thread idea btw, OP
>>
Mark McNairy is my personal fave
>>
>>8499595
Holy shit fuck Rafs website. One night I was chilling out about to go to bed listening to ambient music and ASMR videos, suddenly want to check out some old Raf collections. Go to his website hoping they are there(nothing fucking there) and suddenly some creepy loud ass music plays scaring the living fuck out of me. Proceed to try and find what I'm looking for just get random as images. Fuck that shit

I can't shake the feeling that the people behind these brands know that this stuff is fairly popular and they're just pushing shitty clothing at a low pricepoint to make sales

Doesn't feel like they were very thoughtful with the design just more like "rick and edginess is popular right now let's make stuff like that"

OK I'll contribute than.

Josh Reim is a new designer who recently put out this line. Most of it is unisex clothing, while it may come off as childish and poorly made there are many amazing details to each piece.

>>8501491
>>
>>8500618
>>8500267
Stop trying to sound like you know shit.
they just contract the same factories. fashion houses dont have the funds to have their own shoe factories for the limited runs anyway. to keep a factory running and stay above your overhead it literally has to be running nonstop. cps, kva, the pics already mentioned, bruno, etc etc all go to the same manufacturer with their designs

there is no conspiracy its just fucking business
>>
>>8501495
>you'll never be this cozy
>>
>>8500267
you know most designers don't make their own shoes right? you know a lot of them get their shoes made from the same factories which is why they end up using the same sole and similar materials and methods of construction, right?

Bazar(Aaron Tubb) is our next designer we will look at. Much like Gosha Rubchinskiy he finds inspiration in Russian culture, u like Gosha he actually seems to know how to design clothing and is willing to go out of his comfort zone
>>
>>8501490
>>8501491
>>8501495
really interesting stuff. like mimicking the proportions of a child. coupled with the 80s/90s background these just look comfy as hell. the shoes are sick as fuck too
>>
>>8501524
I'm actually this guy goes somewhere because these are some really cool looks.
>>
>>8501530
>>
>>8501537
hnnnng that blocking

thanks for posting all this btw
>>
>>8501537
Nasir Mazhar is not my favorite designer I can see the appeal to him. Like HBA with actual good design and no take logos. Still pretty cool stuff if hypebeasts dressed like this I think I might be able to tolerate them.
>>
>>8501530
That is like Spartak football club's fan unifrom (????????? ???????? for ease of googling), and it has "??G ?? ??????" (MDG did not come) on it.
Selling Klyukva to foreigners makes money.
>>
>>8501545
i was getting the same vibe. looks like something you'd see on a guy at a football game if it's a cold day out
>>
>>8499547
where can I buy shit like this online though
>>
>>8501490
That's like some post-normcore accelerationist shit.
>>
>>8501545
I mean Gosha does the same thing taking Russian classic looks slapping on some logos or patterns and reselling it. If I had to put on language on clothing I would definitely pick Cyrillic it's pretty fucking badass

>last Nasir Mazhar look
>>
>>8501557
Craig Green is definitely my favorite out of all of these. Although none of it is wearable in any sense outside of the runway it is still fantastic. Much of his work is wearable protests although he hasn't ever said protesting against what it is very obvious in the huge banners and almost bandage like ropes on some of the looks.
>>
>>8501572
This is seriously some of the coolest designs I've very seen from the way everything is put together, material, and the weirdest silhouettes you'll ever see.
>>
>>8501552
You may create that fit spending ~50$ (not counting shoes and adidas essentials), and you are actually given a wider field to choose from.
>>8501557
I actually don't like Gosha. And very not fond of his footwear.
The only appeal I get from a cyrillic-something on clothing is KTZ. I've seen one fit IRL in Saint-Petersburgh, was rather cool, but he was hiding most of the pieces under a casual jacket. It also had some "edge" (you know, taking original orthodox monks design) in it, yet mostly nobody in Russia would understand that. Also, that was near Kazansky Cathedral.

Btw, nice thread, a rare one. We should really have more runway generals, and which are not 100% rick-raf.

>>8501589
Favorite look. I think K this perfectly encapsulated what Green was trying to portray during the shoe. Honestly if I wouldn't get arrested for it I would wear those fucking banners.
>>
>>8501572
His stuff looks interesting, but I don't 'get' it. How do you see a protest in his clothing? Can you elaborate?
>>
Anybody know some Japanese or Korean designers?
I'm going there later this year and would like to cop some local stuff I can't get in Europe.
>>
>>8501609
D.Gnak is an interesting brand.
>>
>>8501596
Lastly I would like to thank you to the sufu thread I got most of this information from and all the pictures. The thread is really really cool and everyone there is extremely intelligent and know what they're talking about so definitely check it out. If you want to see some more stuff like this check out the Antwerp University shows they post all of the students shows and most of them are fantastic. Hope this thread survives it's been really fun posting all of this.
>>
>>8501603
I'm pretty sure he said it before the show or something and has been known to be very opinionated in world issues so I guess he is using his fashion to show this worry. Again I don't know what he is so passionate about as far as I know he has never come right out and said it.
>>
>>8501596
Are fashion shows technically performance art?
>>
>>8501609
There is a guy who posts here from time to time and he said there is literally everything there. Just think about it there are a ton of Japanese designers, so you get actual retail prices no marked up price especially you get in Europe and US. Plus all the good standbys will most definitely be there as well. Before your trip I would study up on as many Japanese designers as you could so you know which ones interest you most.
>>
>>8501614

No it's not

There is nothing interesting or good about that shitty joke of a "designer"
>>
>>8501653
I would say some cam definitely be. Especially in woman's fashion you get the much more extravagant and artsy shows. Men's shows tend to be much more utilitarian, but this is a perfect time example of a much more art driven male show.
>>
>>8501572

How the fuck is that shit not "wearable" off the runway

I visited DSM Ginza recently and his entire SS14 collection was sold out minus 4 pieces

If you seriously think that's unwearable or that it's the craziest design in terms of silhouette and material you have some researchan 2 do mayne
>>
>>8501690
I mainly meant it for this one>>8501575. Although you would definitely get weird looks and it is exceedingly hard to pull off it is definitely wearable sorry about that.
>>
>>8501664
Why?
>>
>>8501614

>>8501659
It's probably a bit like Hong Kong just with more actual designers and less chain stores.
I just want to know what names to look out for, I feel really lucky I found this one t-shirt from Trove in the Undercover store in Hong Kong.
