i'm 100% white and have 0 experience with black people hair, but I can't imagine it being THAT hard. if I wanted a messy hairstyle back in the days, I'd wash my hair without conditioner (and only shampoo it once a week or something like that), dry it but leave it slightly damp, put a hat on and rub it around a bit. leave the hat on for 30min or 1h, boom- your hair is messy as fuck. unfortunately, this dreads my hair up entirely (and it's probably not very hygienic long term)

I've never had a problem with stench. Just rinse it thoroughly with diluted apple cider vinegar. Brush your hair twice a day making sure you have light contact with your scalp so you exfoliate it. Keep a very clean bed and pillow cases.

Also, you can keep some cologne behind your ears and on your neck area and the scent will make it into your hair.

Change product to something less shiny. I would suggest something with a matte finish, and dont use so much of it.

Dude I have hair pretty much exactly like this from what must have been half a decade of almost pure neglect. Just wash your hair like six times a year max and never comb with anything but your fingers, and only in the shower.

I agree shorten sides of the hair but I think shorter beard on chin and bushier beard on the sides will balance your face better. Shape your mustache and chin patch, texture your hair on top

Whats a good product to add to wet or dry hair to make it less puffy and dry looking. Im growing my hair out but its kinda puffy and doesnt sit flat.

First time on /fa/, getting a haircut today and figured you guys might be able to offer some opinions. I cant post a picture atm, but im getting my hair cut tommorow so i need help. I have hair that is curly and thick and i guess sort of nappy, and it is impossible to do anything with it unless I do it right after a shower.

I also have a pretty round face which is aids for popular haircuts from what i can see. Honestly I think I would be best going for a short cut that doesnt require styling or anything, but im stumped because none of it seems to go well a round face.
