Besides AI none of those parkas hold any function and don't fit any better. People on /fa/ dress quite differently from many other fashion boards. Many other boards dress fashionably but still functionally while /fa/ dresses almost purely for Aesthetics. So no they are not better they look nice and they are cheap that's why so many people talk about them, despite popular belief most of /fa/ is poor af.

I was talking about Techwear as a whole not just what /fa/ likes you seriously are brainwashed b. Most high-end techwear brands comparable in price to people like Rick Raf and Ann D, are a beautiful balance of function and aesthetics. Look at things like Veilance or ACR. They are beautifully made but will keep you warm and dry in the rain for hours.

At that price range you won't get anything that will stay water resistant for a long time. Like it will start to get damp after like 20 minutes exposed to rain or snow. If you want something the completely flecks off water and does it for a while you'll need to spend a little more money. Keeping that in mind their is a Veilance jacket on sale right now that basically is everything you wanted but it's around $500
