No its not. 40lbs in 2 months is 5lbs a week. thats 17500 calorie deficit below metabolic rate(per week). So if you eat what you need and exercise to makeup the difference, its more than 200kms of running.(1 big mac is the equivalent of running a 10k)

Its just not possible unless you're incredibly overweight(which raises your metabolic rate), have a ton of water weight, and possibly flirt with using parasites.

Install my fitness pal on phone, set your macros and calories, search for food that fills your macros and calorie requirement, eat that.

Your growth plates fuse at around age 25.

You will have more spurts of growth until then so long as your genetics allow it. (i.e. you parents are 5'11")

If you are not genetically capable of growing past what you are currently at, then you can buy REAL (must be real, no IGF-1) HGH and since you are not 25, still in puberty, and your growth plates have not fused- the HGH will increase your height. It will also cost you about 20k to run a cycle, even if from a doctor. Insurance will not cover it.

Yup. Heel striking is pretty easy to solve if you just keep saying 'dont heel strike' as you run. Then, after a few blocks/miles/whatever measurement you want to use, you'll stop doing it without having to think about it.

The bigger issue is conditioning your knees. You could have perfect form, but if you try to run beyond what your knees are capable of, they'll start to collapse inward on each stride and you'll feel really uncomfortable at the end of the run, and will be in excruciating pain the next day.

You should not be adding other anabolic substances with the HGH if you just want to grow. Steroids will prematurely close your growth plates and render you unable to gain height from your HGH.
..That is if you were talking about actual steroid cycles.
You could make a basic steroid cycle under $200 without any HGH or IGF-1 if you wanted... but that won't help you grow in height.

Nobody responded to this, and because it's an important topic, I will.

When you run, especially when you run fast, or extreme distances, you eat a metric fuckton of calories. In order to gain mass, you need to be eating more calories than your TDEE. The important thing about lifting weights is that you are tearing your muscles significantly more than if you are running and those calories go to rebuilding your muscles.

When you run, you're really only burning the calories that you burn when you run, you do not get the lasting effect that lifting weights provides, due to less rebuilding taking place.

TL;DR - when you run, you are ultimately reducing your mass. When you lift, and eat a lot, you rebuild muscles which allows you to get big.

Runfag here, some people strike their heels (land on them) instead of mid-feet, people don't stretch afterwards or they don't warm their bodies up a little (walk, jog, get joints loosened up) before they start running. Breathing is sometimes terrible as well. Also people tend to run too fast at the beginning, because you see other people run faster than you - they forget you have to build up condition before you work on your speed.

There's lots of ways, basically, but it's easy to learn. And fun as fuck.
