5"7' reporting in. Daily reminder that if you're short you can still be /fa/ as fuck. Just embrace it.
Here's a list of people that are short and /fa/.
>Almost every pimp in America
wishing i was about 2 inches taller but im cool with what I got. Ill tell you one thing fellowmanlets. If you're short and you dont embrace it, you'll look ridiculous as fuck in your fits. And in life in general.
For Christ sake, Joseph Goebbels was 5 foot fucking 5 and look at that nigga. Height does not matter.
Google says 5'5 and he does not look 5 foot either
I dunno why it's not in the sticky, that accepting yourself and embracing how you look is the best way to look good, (obviously you can still improve on yourself etc) but this self-deprecating attitude /fa/ has sometimes between anorexia and >shitskin threads, I think people need to understand that.
Different anon here. I am 5'11" too and it is supposed to be average in Germany, but in reality even half the girls are at least my height.
It really sucks, but I dont focus on it too much. I try to remind myself to at least worry about things that I can change about myself and not things that cant be changed since its a waste of time.
5'7 here. As long as you're confident your height shouldn't matter at all. I've had girls taller and shorter. Everything can be bad if you don't embrace it so just embrace your height, wear stuff that makes you look slimmer/taller and avoid oversized things, especially sweaters that cover your crotch area. Picture unrelated
Okay. So this discussion is freakishly widespread on appearance oriented boards like /fit/ and /fa/. A couple of thoughts from a person who had issues self esteem issues:
>5'11 manlet. 6'1 manlet. 5'7 manlet.
Fuck this. This constant pressuring and meme spreading is literally affecting peoples self awareness to the point that they start to wear insoles to increase their height. Stop that. Embrace your genetics or self loath yourself into oblivion but truth is that many people are not even aware of their actual height
Things like these would only matter if you would want to become a walkway model or go to a place where height is a necessary requirement. Either way none of the "taller" or "smaller" people are privileged to something just because of their height be it clothes, shoes, your romantic partner or what ever the fuck you want it to be.
>There are height estimates for every country in the world.
If you're in Japan and appear to be 5'11 (or 6') you will be considered tall because the average height of the whole male population is 5'7. So do a google search and calm your insecure self down and check the average.
>Girls are attracted to taller dudes
What the fuck? Who knows what girls are attracted to. Who even cares. People like different things and have varying preferences in general. If you had a traumatic experience of a girl rejecting you due to your height, I'm sorry to hear that. Generalising is bath but most likely the girl was an imbecile to begin with if she judged you based on an unchangeable genetic trait.
These things are both widely discussed on /fit/ and /fa/ and it's about time to stop ruining peoples self esteem in this cheap mongolian paper craft committee.
TL;DR Get of 4chan for a week or two and your insecurities will fade away.
You can be a male model at 5'11, desu
I don't understand where this meme came from: modeling agencies do prefer taller guys but height is unimportant compared to body shape and facial attractiveness, unless of course you're way too tall or way too short.
Being tall is one thing but being attractive is completely different. A lot of tall people I know look like they have stretched out and odd looking faces. Tall people who aren't models tend to have really weird faces from what I've seen.
I value the attempt, but don't forget that in the end this is still a fashion board. Most fashion/designer stuff simply caters to taller people and in that sense it's not that strange 2tfwmanlet or tfwfat.
If you're confident and don't wear oversized shit, people think you're taller than you really are. I'm only 5'6" and I don't really feel that it effects me much.
>Different anon here. I am 5'11" too and it is supposed to be average in Germany, but in reality even half the girls are at least my height.
Who cares? Tall girls are hot, and they usually care less about your height than you do.
Peter manning nyc. Pants with inseams that go from 26 to 30 and waists that go from 27 to 36. It's made for short men and everything is proportionate instead of the pants just being shortened but the rest staying the same. They also sell dress shirts and suits and a couple jackets all with shorter sleeves and length to compensate.
Has height ever been a serious issue outside of here for people? Im actually curious. I'm a tall dude 6'10" and it wasn't until I muscled up where i could be confident in my height. I was bullied like hell through school.
