How do you feel about camouflage /fa/?
*only one piece of camo in an outfit
*preferably rare camo only made before the 80s
*no digital ever
*nothing that's currently in service in your own country
Is currently in service in other countries acceptable?
That's alright. Nobody gives a shit about flecktarn in Germany either though. It's just extremely memey
Digital is fine, just dont look like a redneck
I really dont think anyone is going to mistake your skinny faggot ass for a survivalist
camo is fine as long as you dont look like youre in uniform, i have a pair of kryptek typhon cargo pants that i modified a bit (tapered them and removed a pocket) and i get loads of compliments on them. swedish m90 also looks cool, im currentlly developing my own camo patter so i can get it printed amd make shit out of it.
I think everyone in the military is happy about the new OCP pattern compared to the old UCP.
Moncler and Canada goose got it right, as did >>10938804
Camo should have large blotches, a woodland-appropriate range of colors, and not look like anything your nation's military has worn in your lifetime.
Any enlisted person thinking they're higher than working class is pretty pretentious. Wearing camo with the intent to snag the "glory" of being a soldier is just dumb. I think most people who wear camo do so either because they hunt and want to signal that, or because it's a co-opted symbol of authoritarianism, like combat boots, that's now a completely different statement.
Here's the Canada goose bomber pattern. They make lighter jackets with a sandier color scheme that I also like.
guess this would be the appropriate place to ask, could anyone do a mockup of what pic related would look like if it was dyed black, with a bit of the pattern bleeding through?
>implying you wouldn't cop Russian flora
The field jacket is rather rare in that pattern, got myself one badged for like $50 a few weeks ago. Not really planning on wearing it out again any time soon
ww2 german paratrooper tropical pants
The cargo pants I had in the military were actually damn nice. Really comfy and they fit damn well too.
What do you think about Norwegian camo?
desert night camo and east german camo are cool
I got a full set of that. I'm from /k/ and collect camo, I've got just about everything
Pic related, not camo but I thought it's relevant
Fast fashion woodland with variety of mono colors (Blue, Green, Red etc) = Just end yourlife
Woodland = Plebian tier
Digital = Autist who thinks theyre in the army
Flecktarn = Okay, if you arent a nu-male homo
Assorted east euro camos = neat + good for winter
Vintage camos like alpenflage, flectarn, etc = god tier
Saudi choco chip?
>east german camo
Strichtarn is boring as shit though.
>Flecktarn = Okay, if you arent a nu-male homo
>Vintage camos like alpenflage, flectarn, etc = god tier
First off, have you been drinking bleach?
Secondly, there's nothing truly vintage about either of those patterns.
I find the red to be too overpowering to work it into any fit.
Top camo's for actual wear without looking autismal/redneck:
>Italian telo mimetico jacket
>Slightly overdyed flecktarn parka
>Desert DPM smock
alpenflage is pretty cool
My favourite camo is razzle dazzle, Rick used it to great effect on a select couple of DRKSHDW pieces a few years back.
Dunno if you're still here, but /fa/ has your back senpai
i'm still here bby and i appreciate it, it's not really what i need but it's the effort that counts.
and yes, i'm probably going to end up buying a crapload of these jackets and apply various dyes to them, i'm planning on making black, red, blue and orange ones.
r8 my jacket
i work for a certain brand that's preparing a military-themed collection (featuring, amongst other M65 variations, pic related), AMA, no personal questions or anything related to my employment
Ooh everybody look at big boy northerner here, he's not like those dumb southerners with their camo and trucker caps and loving families
nice defense OP
camo is fucking ugly as fuck, no exceptions
is this /fa/ or not
go to krautchan or some other shitty board if you want to pawn off your ugly military surplus wear as fashionable
>*no digital ever
Cant agree man. Ill be copping the russian trousers as soon as the prices start dropping.
I used to wear a tiger camo crew neck with either black or gray skinnies and some tiger camo Vans Maderos every once in a while back in my senior year of high school.
Almost every time I wore that fit someone new would comment on it since both my shirt and shoes were matching a cool looking camo and I guess it made me stand out.
I thought it was the shit back then but how awful does this really sound /fa/
I was also terribly underweight at 5'10 and ~110 lbs back then
Not bad except for /TV/. That's one of the worst. How do you stand it? There's no discussion there, only memes.
/o/ is so great in my experience. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful. There's no endlessly reposted memes and people do not insult others for differing opinions.
I am that anon and that's a great list besides /tv/, but I hope that we get a /film/. I don't use /o/ either.
"Innawoods" isn't a meme, its just common terminology on /k/, you're the only autist here.
Okay never say anything that people not on /fa/ wouldn't understand you sperg
Keep it comin dude, I've got all day to blow your shit apart
Are you a veteran who has mental problems and can't properly re-integrate with normal life?
Are you hunting?
If you didn't answer yes to either of these questions then grow the fuck up or see a psychologist about those daddy issues
Better get rid of 90% of your wardrobe then if we aren't allowed to casually wear things invented for warfare or hunting.
Hope you don't wear jeans if you're not a factory worker either, you little fag.
I don't wear jeans, but your point is moot as jeans are extremely durable so it makes sense that people wear them all the time.
Even hunting shoes have merit if you life in a rainy muddy area because they're designed for similar conditions.
Wearing camo has no similar benefit.
>Wearing camo has no similar benefit.
Military surplus checks the same benefits of you wearing jeans though. It's durable gear for an affordable price. By the way, how are the coal mines this time of year?
why are you on a fashion board if you wear camo?
I didn't say it was practical or nothing, I was just saying his point about wearing jeans was fucking retarded.
I'm more in the don't wear call of duty cosplay in public camp.
It's more like you don't understand that the point about jeans completely undermines the premise of your initial post and you now changed your argument twice in a desperate struggle to save face on an anonymous imageboard.
I'm not trying to save face, I'm trying to save you guys from embarrassing yourselves in public with camo.
My initial point wasn't undermined, I basically said that unless you were hunting or had mental problems there was no excuse for wearing camo.
The jeans argument was just an example of how "practical only" held no weight.
If your argument is "there's no excuse", you have no argument. It's an empty statement that omits the actual argument about why you'd need an excuse in the first place. You generally don't need excuses to wear clothing, camo or not.
