Hoping someone here has some idea on this:

Basically thinking about buying this Ricks Jacket leather from ss 2009 Strutter size L. I recently just went to try on a size 50 mollino from ss 2015 faun and it was wayyy too small, would likely fit 52 or 54 in new ricks best.

I know that his sizing has changed from his older years and now, and theres been constant confusion of what an L means in jacket size, and also what an L means compared to new rick size.

SO! If anyone know anything about this jacket, please lemme know if this will fit me. I heard new mainline rick jackets fit a size small, so i guess i realisitcally tried on a size 48. When I try suits on, 50 fits me pretty slim, 52 fits me just okay.

I have a Faun Mollino and a strutter intarsia. The Mollino is a 52 and fits perfectly. The intarsia is a large and it fits but I would ideally prefer more room in the shoulders.

Personal preference. Silk/viscose is slightly better than cotton in that it doesn't pill or fray as easily but I haven't tested that.

I love the double layer tees. Very unique. Longsleeves, short sleeves, tanks are all good for layering. I don't really like the deep v-necks myself. There are some tees I personally don't like, like the draped tees, the graphic tees etc

asked this in the last thread but i don't think i got an answer (or maybe someone did between when i last checked and when it died)

are the thigh darts on drkshdw jeans supposed to be the same length? i had a pair of detroits a while ago and one of the darts hit my knee and the other one ended a good 2 inches above the knee. i see some pictures where they're clearly uneven and others where they look like they're the same length. is it something that older ones had but not current ones? (i don't know what season mine were from but they had the older style olmar + mirta tag that wasn't as long and they didn't have the "DS" tag and the tag with the cut on the pocket bag like current ones) does it just differ with the model?

i was thinking of getting another pair of rick jeans but the uneven darts on mine drove me insane, i know most people won't even notice but i'm legitimately autistic about things like that, especially when it comes to pants. once i had a pair of jeans that i got tapered and the tailor made one leg just ever so slightly tighter, like less than a quarter inch difference in width and it wasn't visible but just the feeling of one leg being tighter killed it for me.

Typically the Large dust bag comes with outerwear and the smaller dust bag comes with footwear if you buy retail I believe. A lot of retailers ditch the bag and just send you the product which is annoying sometimes.

I'm assuming LGE and LPO are both Calf, I haven't seen creepers in anything apart from Horse, Goat and Calf (off the top of my head) and I think you'll know if you bought one of those leathers.

Its probably a small alteration like a different tanning process or treatment.
