Make sure to use water based, not oil based

what worked for me when i had gross skin a decade ago was to just wash my face once a day every single day in the shower with just a little hypoallergenic soap (that i already ran on my hands)

a lot of people overdo it and fuck up their ph levels the other way. gotta find that sweet spot where you don't wash it too aggressively but you also wash it sufficiently

You should see results inside of a month. Accutane essentially shuts down your body's sebacious (oil) glands, starving the bacteria responsible for acne. This also means that the rest of your skin will dry out too, so like other anon said a really good lip moisturizer and mild hydrating facial cleanser are key. It's also really hard on your liver so keep the drinking under control while using it.

Look on bottle of moisturizer for "non comedogenic" meaning i dont clog pores and cause acne. Cerave is the best imo get the pm though not the am.

Honestly, just skip the moisturizer for a few weeks and get your ass some cetaphil gentle cleanser. It's not expensive and you can find it anywhere. Use it when you shower and when you brush your teeth at night. I'd be very surprised if that didn't help.

seriously you need to visit a dermatologist. other than that wash your face twice a day with warm (not hot) water, clean your pillow case or sleep on a clean towel every night, drink a lot of water, avoid too salty and sugary food, exercise at least every now and then. I've been doing this for a few months and it has helped me a LOT. If think helps you try to buy something with benzoyl peroxide for spot treatment.
