eternal lunarcore thread
post fits and inspo
posting a dope custom jacket an anon made here that i saved a while ago
if i remember correctly he made it from scratch
fuckin dope carry strap
love the taupe interior
yeah his haircut is awful
solid fit aside from that
w2c this jacket.
I know the dude that posted this put the patches in himself i just really want an orange bomber
That's me! It's an alpha industries refueler jacket. Most of there orange jackets would work.
It was a special Casio made just for the movie. If you look around it should be a Casio F-100. Very expensive now, though some sites show how to make your own with two watches.
Thinking about getting some. The greys look way better but I've found some solid whites for cheaper. How would the all white baggies look for lunar?
Here's something I thought was cool.
Mountain Hardware Ghost Lite Pro
It's got a translucent grey over a orange base. also has a hood that rolls into the collar.

You seem to have made a bit of a mistake in your post. Luckily, the users of 4chan are always willing to help you clear this problem right up! You appear to have used a tripcode when posting, but your identity has nothing at all to do with the conversation! Whoops! You should always remember to stop using your tripcode when the thread it was used for is gone, unless another one is started! Posting with a tripcode when it isn't necessary is poor form. You should always try to post anonymously, unless your identity is absolutely vital to the post that you're making!
Now, there's no need to thank me - I'm just doing my bait to help you get used to the anonymous image-board culture!
What shorts should I get to wear around my station?
copped first lunarcore item a few days ago, these pants. still a shitty picture. ive got no applicable shoes/jacket yet unfortunately
I dont like biker pants in general but if you do thats fine.
Make a choice between baggy or slim fitting pants, those are kind of in between and it makes them look like they dont fit at all
Just keep lurking man. It'll keep coming. Also check out cheasecloth on tumblr
Could this be lunarcore at all with some space patches. I would be the office guy in the space station who never goes out and just look at anime.
what about this, could it be lunarcore ?
Shirt is bad, fit is blans. All one color one texture. Even jumpsuits have patches and a pop of color underneath. Often times a thermal undershirt, with a visible texture.
legit she's one of my heroes
so fucking successful
I like these colors better. Reminds me of Kubrick set design.
Thoughts on the Nike Lunar Force 1 Sneakerboots?
w2c white bomber jacket?
Also does anyone have experience with pic related? Thinking of copping an alpha industries MA-1. Is there a big difference between the slim fit and regular?
Anything within military reg. Buzzed or etc.
Alpha has great quality for reasonable price. Haven't tried many other brands. The medium reg fits me very well and I'm 6' 155lb
Just look around I guess. Some of the more tech stuff could be good. Nike or the more minimal brands
>not using the omega speedmaster moon watch, plebs
is this lunarcore?
Selling these if anyones interested.
Slum red planet would be a sweet twist on lunar. Lots of muted reds and tans.
The nike marxman shoes came out today, $130. They're on the nike website.
took my first tentative step into lunarcore. it feels great
Welcome aboard man. I like the jacket.
I love my MA-1, general quality is pretty damn good, very cozy jacket
I bought a slim fit one because the regular seemed way too poofy from most angles, felt like fuckin' bubble boy
A beige skinny bomber does not a lunarcore fit make.
Also wash your hair.
can i consistently wear lunarcore without being laughed at by everyone? i am 18, live in germany. im moving out to study and mommy will pay for some new clothes and i need to choose a fit.
where are you moving to?
If it's a big city just wear whatever you want, nobody cares
bochum, it's quite a big city. sounds good, but im more worried about the people in university. then again, im not into girls who dont know anything about fashion, so i really should not care.
University isn't school,it's more anonymous and girls won't laugh about you behind your back and guys won't steal your lunch.
That being said you sound incredibly unconfident about something so simple and unoffensive. Maybe you should just not be into fashion at all.
i am currently putting together my first lunarcore fit. so far i have these >>10925184 boots and a white Alpha Industries MA-1.
Where can I get pants with those horizontal lines like on the pic?
>they're only available in your size
just shoot me outta of an airlock tbqh famalam
I remember this. It's just a Swedish surplus jacket and the graphic 1940s Japanese canvas mail bag that has been put together.
Shouldn't be too hard to recreate, just find one of those bags and put 'em together, it's getting the bag that's the hard part. Alternatively just match up the typeface with something close (Take note of the tail on the J and the spine on the S), create the symbol in Illustrator, then screenprint it onto a sheet of canvas which you then apply to the coat...
I wanna do this now.
Love the idea of going lunar, but people have told me I should keep my lifestyle in mind.
I live in a town of 50,000 people, semi-rural, and work as a personal trainer and a bit of security. Is there hope for me yet, friends?
sorta wanna cop this to make some lunar qui gon jinn type shit but I live in miami
Might be of interest to you guys. French Foreign Legion Paratrooper backpack.
Don't listen to them. If you'd be wearing grey palladiums and shot the pic in higher definition they'd be drooling over it.
If you're pursuing this thing. Don't get a silver bomber like everybody else, do something unique. Get better footwear as well. Don't do a light/cream shirt, it doesn't work for your body type. Pants aren't the best but not the worst either. Keep at it.
whoopth! Replied to myself.
It's chilly and winter here. So I seem to get away with it. As far as lifestyle, I work in my blues at the ER and white paladiums are obv not recommended in that drippy workplace.
50€ on ebay, did i fuck up? i hope this is not like these assassins creed clothes that look completely different irl. i am afraid i will look like an idiot even if it looks like on the picture, but if you get the lunarcore idea you might think its supposed to look like my rocket burned my pants a little
this one is very lunarcore
I found a cheap one but buyer beware on anything chinese regarding quality and sizing
Could this work for a lunar-esque fit? Not digging the fur trim but I guess that comes off.
I'm getting "The Martian" vibes from it.
The Martian was a shit movie so it would work for the a mediocre fit.
Are onesies lunarcore?
>knocks a simple versatile piece.
>meanwhile graphic shirts and onesies are being posted as inspo.
Yes, those graphic shirts and overalls are more lunarcore than that jacket.
>Ostentatiously calling it an "overall"
It's a fleece onesie, face it. Pyjamas are more lunar than a flightjaket, good to know I guess.
Maybe you should abstract from the pictures posted to see silhouettes, fabrics or colors rather than thinking you're supposed to cosplay a cosmonaut or any of the fictional characters posted.
I'll give you that colours and fabrics are more important than looking like an Alien extra. Most of what you're posting exhibits just that. However, all memeing aside. >>10949679 is clearly a fleece onesie. Aside from being taken in an actual spacecraft there's little to nothing "lunar" about that pictures. It's just a guy in a fleece onesie wearing a graphic shirt, much like any 21st century couchpotato.
Think blue overall zipped down to be worn as pants, under it a grey geometrical patterned shirt made of that kind of thicker material. Btw it's patterned, not printed with a graphic. Even if it was a graphic prints there's plenty of logos that work great with the aesthetic.
can lunarpunk be a thing? i know that's retarded but whatever
Yes, blue overalls do work, I agree on that. But the fact is that it isn't a blue flight overall, it's a fleece onesie made for lounging and it's offputting for the "lunar" thing. Compare it to an actual flight overall in pic related. The onesie just doesn't cut it.
If anybody came into these threads wearing a onesie like pants and a patterned shirt, he/she'd be the laughing stock of the thread. Despite all reasonings and imaginings of "but think of it as a blue overall".
The thing is, that's an inspo picture, not a fit someone posted. If someone did that I'd tell them the same I told you before. "You should abstract from the pictures posted to see silhouettes, fabrics or colors". Just as I would say that to someone who just wears a goddamn spacesuit.
>"You should abstract from the pictures posted to see silhouettes, fabrics or colors"
Well, I guess that makes all of /fa/ obsolete. You can say that about anything no matter how bad/weird/bait. "You just don't understand, you need to abstract the silhouettes, colors and fabrics". That's getting dangerously close to becoming le ebin fedodo meme.
the uk flag kinda sucks, but i bet some of you anons could pull this off
Looks like a charcoal funnel/cowl neck hoodie. Patches can be added
