I've been sleep deprived for years now. Just starting to care about my appearance, as I realise that I will be stuck a basement dweller if I don't. How do you get rid of dark circles and wrinkles. Is sleep debt real? Or can I just sleep 8 hours a day for a few months till they go away?
They're a mix of genetic disposition and an indication of your overall health. Essentially, you'll most likely just have to start getting more sleep, drinking more water, eating better and probably moisturising under your eyes.
See no reason why you shouldn't be able to improve them that way. Sleep is really the big one though.
From my experience all it takes is just setting a regular bedtime that allows for at least 8 hrs of sleep (i typically sleep sometime between 10:30 to 11:00). I used to sleep at a random time and barely got any sleep as a result.
Also, eat healthy, drink a lot of water, exercise, and go outside often
