They're not rare, but they are super comfy, pretty durable and versatile. I've got a very muscular frame so boots of all kinds look best with most of my outfits, and desert boots are the best in warm weather.

If you want to both go back to the roots and be more fashion forward, check out Brother Vellies. Not cheap but more distinctive than Clarks while going with the same stuff. That leather sole is neat too.
